Superb meal on Saturday. Delicious food. I had starter of crab cakes and sea bass for main. Excellent espresso martini to end.

Spent Christmas day here for family dinner, the staff put it so much effort to make it an amazing experience for everyone, food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was brilliant. Thank you Viscounts

Never fails to satisfy a large appetite with very very accommodating friendly staff! Nothing is ever a problem even when they are under severe pressure to accommodate everyone! Sunday cavery is also exemplary and full of home made flavour! As for the Christmas decorations well it’s like winter wonderland amazing for kids and adults alike. Was there last Thursday evening and even with 4 kids under 3 1/2 including 9 week old twins nothing was too much effort! Five star at its best! Keep up the great work everybody!! Enjoyed thoroughly!!!!

My favourite restaurant in the world, I love everything about it, the food is delicious, decor is beautiful and staff are so lovely and friendly. It never disappoints and I'll be coming here for the rest of my life!! ÔŅĹ

I was there the first day it opened ..the Beach Boys were filtering through on full blast volume ...what an atmosphere...ELECTRIC!!! Then I tasted the food...whao!! I said then 'this place will go far' and decades later it STILL is of the same standard...1st class food, service and music...fabulous!

I always enjoy getting out for a good feed and from being a chef myself I like to get out very often but I can hands down say that of all the places I've eaten in that Vicounts is the best yet and can't be beaten always great food very well organised staff very pleasant and helpful no matter how under pressure are busy they are. From the minute I walk into i leave I just love it!! And also the Sunday carvery you will not get a better one around here, always get a good plate full and whatever you ask for!!! Highly recommended. ÔŅĹÔŅĹ

Had a beautiful 3 course meal this evening. My husband had a t- bone steak and is now snoring.lol Staff on arrival and the whole way thru the meal were very attentative and couldnt do enough for us. The food was fantastic, a well organised restaurant with great staff.

First time here, drove from Belfast and it was well worth the drive. The waitresses are excellent, so pleasant and on the ball. The food is also excellent, cooked to perfection and so tasty, great sized portions, we will definitely be back, and recommending to our friends.

Sent to the bar area for a pre dinner drink, the place was awash with Christmas everywhere had something nicely decorated. Got our drinks in a timely manner and served by a lovely young man, ordered food and was seated upstairs which thank god because the downstairs area looked so busy and loud! Food was delivered hot and so so tasty ÔŅĹ, staff were excellent and couldn‚Äôt do enough even had time for light chat and the usual banter. Desserts were a miss for me but the few in the party had some and said they were delicious. Really can‚Äôt wait to go back and sample some more delights.

All the way from Australia, travelling Europe, UK and Republic Of Ireland....the service and meal were sensational. If there was a 6 the Viscount Restaurant would achieve this easily.

That's where the positives stop though. £37 for a steak and sides is crazy ! £26 for the steak and with the sides of root veg, green veg and chips at £11.



The food was ok and the service was good.



I don't blame Viscount's at all for charging this £37 for a steak meal, as they appear to be getting it ok, going by how busy they were.



I just couldn't help but feeling well overcharged for the experience. My summary of here would be, 'lovely place, ok food but far too expensive'.

All I can tell you that each and every time I eat here I have great food , wine and service.. the staff are soiii warm and friendly and great fun ....!! They can't do enough for you and your friends and family..... can't fault this restaurant.... ūüĎĆūüŹľūüėČ

Viscount very disappointing. 3 covers. I ordered a sirloin - medium. It was very tough and I told waitress and a manager agreed that it wasn't a good steak. I asked for lamb but he said I should try the fillet steak saying that he would guarantee a great steak. So it came and I ate some of it but it was very tough and I told manager. He offered free desserts which we didn't want. No reduction in bill and manager nowhere to be seen at end. DISAPPOINTING EVENING.

Second time I’ve eaten here, first was 3 yrs ago for a family birthday dinner. This time was a Sunday. The place was jammed full of people. There where no specific waiting staff to your table meant the service was poor at best. We where seated upstairs and had to walk downstairs to queue for 25 mins for the carvery.. only for the waiter to carry it back upstairs to our table???

Clearly there’s not much on the competition front in Dungannon. Personally I rather eat elsewhere in the future.

Just back from a meal with the husband and during our meal his glass exploded staff were quick to clean it up but lifted my food and took it away and I wasn’t even finished. No apology or anything and still got charged full price at the end even though didn’t get to eat meal

While ordering our courses one of us ordered a steak, when the person who took our order, who I later found out is the "manager" asked if they would like any sides, they ordered one side of mash potato. The server went on to take other orders and then returned asking if he would like mushrooms and onions with the steak, assuming it was an optional side that came with the steak he said yes.



The food came and was average at best, great big portions and two huge portions of mushrooms and onions, too big for one person to eat. No one came by to ask how the meal was or if we would like anything else until the food was done and plates were cleared.



When the bill came we seen we had been charged for two sides that we didn't necessarily order. I took the bill up to ask why but while I was waiting to be attended to, it seemed the patron in front of me also had a problem with their bill. It seemed they had been charged for a bottle of wine they did not order.



When I challenged the manager about the way he asked us to order food I explained that he was the one who suggested getting onions and mushrooms after we had ordered our side. The problem we have was not being charged for two extra sides but the manner in which we were dealt with. Very disrespectful and non apologetic, trying to make us out to be fools and "not reading the menu". No sense of reasoning or keeping customers happy.



It's a shame to see a normally good establishment be so aggressive and against their customers, it makes them seem so desperate for money, not customer loyalty and for that reason I will choose to take my business elsewhere from now on. We also have our Christmas party here, but they can kiss that good bye this year.

Went last nite with friends for our annual Christmas nite out and can honestly say we will not be back. We have been to viscounts a few times and have never been disappointed but last nite was awful. When we arrived we were sent upstairs to place our order as usual, but no one came near us to help us find a table, we stood for a while and then found a table ourselves. Waited and waited for menus and to place a drink order, food order etc. Everything was just very slow and the staff were not very friendly or inviting. The food was just ok, very bland compared to other times we've been. I had ordered the viscounts potatoes as my side which I asked for twice and it never came. When we came to settling the bill they were on it and we had to ask for it to b removed they were not very apologetic. Just no customer service. As previous reviews have said, instead of having one person serving ur table it's all different staff so no one really knows if ur table has had there complete order and no one came during the different courses to see if the food was ok or if wee needed more drinks etc. Just so so disappointed. Staff training is definately required!!!!!!

Was at viscounts last night for a Christmas meal with friends, the service and the food were very very poor! When we first arrived we were sent upstairs and not one member of staff came near us and we had booked the table, we stood for a good 5 minutes then went and found a table ourselves. When we did eventually get our food my friend never received her side order even after we asked twice for it. However when the bill came they had charged us for it. No one came to ask us did we need more drinks etc, the floor was disgusting, left over food lying around and underneath tables, clearly visible and not one member of staff made any attempt to clean it while resetting the table for the next people. Will definitely not be back, the food was bland and for the price we paid definitely not worth it!

Superb meal on Saturday. Delicious food. I had starter of crab cakes and sea bass for main. Excellent espresso martini to end.

Spent Christmas day here for family dinner, the staff put it so much effort to make it an amazing experience for everyone, food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was brilliant. Thank you Viscounts

Never fails to satisfy a large appetite with very very accommodating friendly staff! Nothing is ever a problem even when they are under severe pressure to accommodate everyone! Sunday cavery is also exemplary and full of home made flavour! As for the Christmas decorations well it’s like winter wonderland amazing for kids and adults alike. Was there last Thursday evening and even with 4 kids under 3 1/2 including 9 week old twins nothing was too much effort! Five star at its best! Keep up the great work everybody!! Enjoyed thoroughly!!!!

I said then 'this place will go far' and decades later it STILL is of the same standard...1st class food, service and music...fabulous!

I always enjoy getting out for a good feed and from being a chef myself I like to get out very often but I can hands down say that of all the places I've eaten in that Vicounts is the best yet and can't be beaten always great food very well organised staff very pleasant and helpful no matter how under pressure are busy they are. From the minute I walk into i leave I just love it!! And also the Sunday carvery you will not get a better one around here, always get a good plate full and whatever you ask for!!! I asked for lamb but he said I should try the fillet steak saying that he would guarantee a great steak. So it came and I ate some of it but it was very tough and I told manager. He offered free desserts which we didn't want. No reduction in bill and manager nowhere to be seen at end. DISAPPOINTING EVENING.

The server went on to take other orders and then returned asking if he would like mushrooms and onions with the steak, assuming it was an optional side that came with the steak he said yes.



The food came and was average at best, great big portions and two huge portions of mushrooms and onions, too big for one person to eat. No one came by to ask how the meal was or if we would like anything else until the food was done and plates were cleared.



When the bill came we seen we had been charged for two sides that we didn't necessarily order. I took the bill up to ask why but while I was waiting to be attended to, it seemed the patron in front of me also had a problem with their bill. It seemed they had been charged for a bottle of wine they did not order.



When I challenged the manager about the way he asked us to order food I explained that he was the one who suggested getting onions and mushrooms after we had ordered our side. The problem we have was not being charged for two extra sides but the manner in which we were dealt with. Very disrespectful and non apologetic, trying to make us out to be fools and "not reading the menu". No sense of reasoning or keeping customers happy.



It's a shame to see a normally good establishment be so aggressive and against their customers, it makes them seem so desperate for money, not customer loyalty and for that reason I will choose to take my business elsewhere from now on. We also have our Christmas party here, but they can kiss that good bye this year.

When we came to settling the bill they were on it and we had to ask for it to b removed they were not very apologetic. Just no customer service. As previous reviews have said, instead of having one person serving ur table it's all different staff so no one really knows if ur table has had there complete order and no one came during the different courses to see if the food was ok or if wee needed more drinks etc. Just so so disappointed. Staff training is definately required!!!!!!

Fantastic Meal, lovely attentive staff. Visited last night for the first time in many many years. Sent to the bar area for a pre dinner drink, the place was awash with Christmas everywhere had something nicely decorated. Got our drinks in a timely manner and served by a lovely young man, ordered food and was seated upstairs which thank god because the downstairs area looked so busy and loud! Food was delivered hot and so so tasty ÔŅĹ, staff were excellent and couldn‚Äôt do enough even had time for light chat and the usual banter. Desserts were a miss for me but the few in the party had some and said they were delicious. Really can‚Äôt wait to go back and sample some more delights.

All the way from Australia, travelling Europe, UK and Republic Of Ireland....the service and meal were sensational. If there was a 6 the Viscount Restaurant would achieve this easily.

Lovely place and worth going to see, it's lovely inside.



That's where the positives stop though. £37 for a steak and sides is crazy ! £26 for the steak and with the sides of root veg, green veg and chips at £11.



The food was ok and the service was good.



I don't blame Viscount's at all for charging this £37 for a steak meal, as they appear to be getting it ok, going by how busy they were.



I just couldn't help but feeling well overcharged for the experience. My summary of here would be, 'lovely place, ok food but far too expensive'.

All I can tell you that each and every time I eat here I have great food , wine and service.. the staff are soiii warm and friendly and great fun ....!! They can't do enough for you and your friends and family..... can't fault this restaurant.... ūüĎĆūüŹľūüėČ

Viscount very disappointing. 3 covers. I ordered a sirloin - medium. It was very tough and I told waitress and a manager agreed that it wasn't a good steak. I asked for lamb but he said I should try the fillet steak saying that he would guarantee a great steak. So it came and I ate some of it but it was very tough and I told manager. He offered free desserts which we didn't want. No reduction in bill and manager nowhere to be seen at end. DISAPPOINTING EVENING.

Second time I’ve eaten here, first was 3 yrs ago for a family birthday dinner. This time was a Sunday. The place was jammed full of people. There where no specific waiting staff to your table meant the service was poor at best. We where seated upstairs and had to walk downstairs to queue for 25 mins for the carvery.. only for the waiter to carry it back upstairs to our table???

Clearly there’s not much on the competition front in Dungannon. Personally I rather eat elsewhere in the future.

Just back from a meal with the husband and during our meal his glass exploded staff were quick to clean it up but lifted my food and took it away and I wasn’t even finished. No apology or anything and still got charged full price at the end even though didn’t get to eat meal

Have been going to viscounts for many years, have always enjoyed the atmosphere and great portions of food, would be a firm family favorite of ours but the most recent trip will be our last.



While ordering our courses one of us ordered a steak, when the person who took our order, who I later found out is the "manager" asked if they would like any sides, they ordered one side of mash potato. The server went on to take other orders and then returned asking if he would like mushrooms and onions with the steak, assuming it was an optional side that came with the steak he said yes.



The food came and was average at best, great big portions and two huge portions of mushrooms and onions, too big for one person to eat. No one came by to ask how the meal was or if we would like anything else until the food was done and plates were cleared.



When the bill came we seen we had been charged for two sides that we didn't necessarily order. I took the bill up to ask why but while I was waiting to be attended to, it seemed the patron in front of me also had a problem with their bill. It seemed they had been charged for a bottle of wine they did not order.



When I challenged the manager about the way he asked us to order food I explained that he was the one who suggested getting onions and mushrooms after we had ordered our side. The problem we have was not being charged for two extra sides but the manner in which we were dealt with. Very disrespectful and non apologetic, trying to make us out to be fools and "not reading the menu". No sense of reasoning or keeping customers happy.



It's a shame to see a normally good establishment be so aggressive and against their customers, it makes them seem so desperate for money, not customer loyalty and for that reason I will choose to take my business elsewhere from now on. We also have our Christmas party here, but they can kiss that good bye this year.

Went last nite with friends for our annual Christmas nite out and can honestly say we will not be back. We have been to viscounts a few times and have never been disappointed but last nite was awful. When we arrived we were sent upstairs to place our order as usual, but no one came near us to help us find a table, we stood for a while and then found a table ourselves. Waited and waited for menus and to place a drink order, food order etc. Everything was just very slow and the staff were not very friendly or inviting. The food was just ok, very bland compared to other times we've been. I had ordered the viscounts potatoes as my side which I asked for twice and it never came. When we came to settling the bill they were on it and we had to ask for it to b removed they were not very apologetic. Just no customer service. As previous reviews have said, instead of having one person serving ur table it's all different staff so no one really knows if ur table has had there complete order and no one came during the different courses to see if the food was ok or if wee needed more drinks etc. Just so so disappointed. Staff training is definately required!!!!!!

Was at viscounts last night for a Christmas meal with friends, the service and the food were very very poor! When we first arrived we were sent upstairs and not one member of staff came near us and we had booked the table, we stood for a good 5 minutes then went and found a table ourselves. When we did eventually get our food my friend never received her side order even after we asked twice for it. However when the bill came they had charged us for it. No one came to ask us did we need more drinks etc, the floor was disgusting, left over food lying around and underneath tables, clearly visible and not one member of staff made any attempt to clean it while resetting the table for the next people. Will definitely not be back, the food was bland and for the price we paid definitely not worth it!
