SHAME ON YOU WEATHERSPOONS.

Please can everyone share this, my dad was in weatherproons in belfast on Friday night with my mum he was wearing a northern Ireland top. Standing at the bar there was a man in a Liverpool top who had been served, however when my dad tried to order his drink he was told he could not be served as he had a northern Ireland top on, my dad was very annoyed and asked why the fella that was wearing a Liverpool top got served and he said go and put a coat on and il serve you. How is fair??!!??

User

Me and my partner had a great night out in Belfast hotel, restaurant and bars are great. Although you do need to know where to go. Christmas market is not to be missed and apartment cocktails are Delish!

User

Just spent 3 days in the city, amazed by the friendly welcome everywhere we went. The city is beautiful with amazing architecture and is very clean. Visited Titanic exhibition, has bus sightseeing tour and explored family history. All in all a fantastic place to see, will definitely be back.

User

Just came back from a weekend in Belfast the people are really friendly and eating out is reasonable for a city and drinks are still cheap had a fantastic time in a beautiful city and visited titanic museum and giants causeway can't recommend highly enough !

User

I spend 6/7 weekends a year in Belfast visiting friends and family. The city has been transformed into a truly vibrant place. The food scene is exceptional! If you like lazy Sundays Belfast is your ideal place. It certainly rivals the Northern English power houses. Worth a visit.

User

I love Belfast. So vibrant with the old and the new mix. A great vibe on the streets. I visit several times a year. The train station in right close to the city centre. Lots to see and do. I love the city.

User

I love Belfast!! It has fabulous Hotels/ restaurants and a great variety of entertainment to suit every one! We love going up and staying overnight every other month and have never been disappointed with our visit! Go Belfast !!!

User

First visit to belfast ...great city ..great bars live music ..people so friendly and helpful ..public transport was fantastic ...loved my weekend and hope to return in september for more♥..

User

Fantastic city . loads to do and see. Great places to have a coffee or a drink.

User

Caffe nero on botanic avenue is an amazing place where one can buy amazing hand crafted hot drinks, iced drinks and gorgeous cakes. Free wifi

User

Belfast rocks everyone has to experience all Belfast has to offer. How things have changed let's hope we never return to the dark times

User

Been to Belfast three times now, love the place! We always take a trip down to Castleward for an Archery session, well worth it! We had a bad experience this time though, just stay away from 'No.1 open top tour company' (their words) and I don't mean the citysightseeing tour buses, who are fab btw. Highly recommend McCombs or Paddywagons for the GoT and Giants Causeway tours! Excellent service from all the staff in Visit Belfast. Hope to be back soon!!

User

Amazing experience!!!

Halloween fireworks in Belfast. Worst event ever. Promised De lorean cars and bumblebee from transformers. Saw none of these. Fireworks were ok. Live music was too loud. And nowhere to get food or drink. How was this a family event? So disappointed with it

User

Daily, it seems, someone from our community is taking the time and effort to put together the details of a draconian Stop and Search, before posting on social media. One abuse follows another and still the Silence from SF, SDLP and Catholic Church..!

15 years after the RUC was rebranded, the reality for the nationalist/republican community is of little change. The same string-pullers i.e. MI5 and their native minions, continue to call the shots. State sponsored Internment, Political Policing, human rights abuses and deliberate and callous targeting of our children continues to be the reality regardless of major Public Relations exercises organised by traitors and carried out by the English queen's Armed Forces.

It Is Time To Take To The Streets:

Thursday 6.30pm. Assemble at Saoradh Office Falls Road / Cavendish St junction.

The tourist board office is simply from another era... They try to sell a new fresh image but the staff is not prepared for LGBT tourism: the clerk that attented me was very rude and shocked when we asked for a LGBT venues/places to visit ... Third world

User

So much for Visit Belfast, we went as a group for a friends 30th birthday bash spending money on a bus to and from Belfast and staying in appartments putting money into the Belfast ecomony and the disappointment of being refused entry into several bars because we where in a group of 14 people, all couples in their 30s. The Basement Bar and Thompsons opposite the City Hall wouldn't allow any of us entry the door staff being arrogant and unprofessional using the excuse that we wheren't on the guest list even though 2 of our party gained admittance whilst we where being questioned about the guest list, an absolute joke. I will never recommend a night out in Belfast to anyone and so much for a real piece of Belfast hospitality. We ended up back in our appartments before 12 o'clock a costly weekend with no lasting memory for the birthday girl.

User

I Love Belfast and this review is no reflection of all the rest of the other amazing places in Belfast

Please avoid the Wellington Park Hotel on Malone road !!!

The standards are shocking you cannot complain as nobody takes any notice !

The hotel has gone silent along with Expedia !

If you like a hot shower in the morning this is not the place for you !!!

Cold shower ! Volcano type heating that can't be switched off and only one plug socket ! (That works )

This is the place for you !!!

Like I said Go to Belfast just don't stay there !!!!!
