Our Windsor Avenue Nursery in South Belfast is set in a lovely Victorian home, each room meeting the needs of each age group that it holds.

Each room is colourful and fully equipped with lots of fun activities and focuses on each area of learning. Outside we have 2 good size areas of play- one is woodchip area with 2 large climbing frames for physical play, the other is a soft surface area more suited to our younger age group with small slides and ride on cars.

Our preschool unit was the first in Northern Ireland to go bilingual and it has been a great success. Those who speak French can continue to develop their skills, while the children who don’t have any experience with a second language benefit from the preschool setting to gain a language using fun activities with a laid back approach.

We are confident of the level of care and team work here at our Windsor childcare centre. Each member works together as part of a team and works alongside the parent and child to provide the best quality of care and ensures that each child has a positive experience every day. We always ensure that our staff has the most up to date knowledge and encourage them to take part in any training courses available including child protection, first aid food hygiene fire safety etc.

We also have introduced a ‘sensory room’ to our nursery. Our senses tell us about the world in which we live and our sense of taste, touch, smell, sight and sound provides the basis for our understanding and actions.
