Meet Debra Wenlock from Bangor
We are fortunate to have her work with us and the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland on various art work designs as she has recently completed work on a major commission that commemorates the hugely popular tv series Game of Thrones.
... Debra has been a collaborator in the creation of a total of six monumental stained glass windows which have been erected around Belfast to create a tourist trail for fans of the hit series.
Debra says, "I have loved designing the RPSI posters because it allows me to play with colour and bold shapes just as this series of windows lets me do the same in a similarly public medium."
Instigated by Tourism Ireland & Tourism NI, along with HBO, the windows depict the show's most shared, searched and discussed moments of the first seven series of the show and have been installed weekly to coincide with the airing of the six episodes of the eighth and final season.
