Job Position: After-school Leader (Temporary) Location: Bleary Business and Community Centre, Craigavon Salary: TBC... Working Hours: 25 hours per week Working Times: Monday - Friday, 1.30-6.30pm Application Closing Date: 11 July 2018
Qualifications/Experience QCF level 5 in Children’s Care and Development or Playwork/Primary school teaching degree/Social Work degree/Early Years Degree or equivalent or working towards these qualifications. At least 2 years previous work experience in a paid capacity with children under 12 years.
Desirable Experience Previous paid work experience as a leader/deputy leader/manager in a child care setting. Experience of working with Primary 1-Primary 7 children. Child Protection, First Aid, Food Hygiene, Designated Officer training. A valid driving licence.
Job Duties To manage all aspects of the After-School including: Staffing, Care, development and play opportunities, home-work supervision, statutory responsibilities, health and safety, safeguarding and child protection, partnership with parents, assessment and record keeping, training and development needs. Report to the registered person as and when appropriate on issues and concerns that arise within the setting. Carry out specific roles and responsibilities as delegated and directed by the registered person.
Other information A job offer is subject to vetting clearance. Applicants may be required to transport children from school using own car. Applicants must be 21 years or over for Insurance purposes. Interviews expected to take place in July 2018. Only candidates selected for interview will be notified of the outcome of their application.
