We had a lovely evening on Saturday at the night market, King Edward Court. The cinema was great a true classic film Greese!

Peascod Street was fun with good food and music.

I am really not sure where Windsor Yards is ? I know where King Edward Court is maybe more time spent on updating the area and ensuring all the right shops for the locals are available rather than trying to go all modern and trendy!

Why on earth would you want to change the name. It is King Edward Court and always will be King Edward Court, and to pick a name that is so unsuitable makes it worse.

Terrible rebranding, very down-market name and obviously done with no consideration or consultation of the views of local residents. Royal Windsor is all about its rich royal history and its special connection with the monarchy. The name King Edward Court reflected this perfectly and should be re-instated immediately.

sounds like some sort of scrap yard area name rather than a shopping area, theres nothing wrong with its previous name. the new name would put me off going there rather than entice me to visit, especially if i didnt know the area and what it actually was. Even the page description is still calling it King Edward Court! Change it back and spend money on something more useful!

Whose idea was it to change the name of King Edward Court to Windsor Yards??? How ridiculous! And nobody thought to ask the residents of Windsor? King Edward Court is a nice regal name for our Royal Windsor but Windsor Yards? Seriously? It sounds like it's been down graded!

Please revert to the much accepted and respected King Edward Court.

Still trying to understand why money was wasted on unnecessary name change, when Windsor has so many empty shops and now another cheap mobile phone shop where Thorntons was, its beginning to look like the Queensmere Centre full of cheap tacky shops.



Morrisons, Fenwicks etc are still empty also there are going to be a few in The Royal Shopping area. Windsor needs cheaper shop rents and decent unique shops to enhance Windsor.

It is a lil Chavy to be honest and, it doesn't bare any resemblance to those well known "Yards" in Covent Garden / Camden / Spitalfields and I'm sure others, which promote a YARD type vibe...

I've been reading on FaceBook that the name of King Edward Court has been changed on a permanent basis to Windsor Yards!!!. Who on earth came up with this ridiculous name!!, it sounds like a scrap yard merchants. It's not going down at all well with the local residents.Couldn't you even be bothered to run a poll? How does this name reflect the town of Windsor, it doesn't !!

I and most people I've spoken to who live in Windsor absolutely hate this name. There was nothing wrong with King Edward Court.

I am very surprised that you have chosen the name Windsor Yards to replace King Edward Court. A definite move downmarket. If you were in touch with the views of Windsorians, you certainly wouldn't be making such a change.

Dreadful name change and an insult to the residents of Windsor who in the majority love "The Royal Connection" at least change it to something less chavvy and gangsta, AND for god sake hire a local PR company who would be in touch with the residents of Windsor and their wishes. Will definitely start shopping elsewhere now.
