The Domestic Abuse Bill promises to 'transform' how the UK responds to domestic abuse. Yet the Bill has not included migrant survivors, who face additional barriers to safety and support, in the proposed changes to the law.
The Bill also excludes Northern Ireland, leaving survivors of abuse within the region unprotected.
... Email the Bill's Pre-Legislative Scrutiny Committee and tell them to extend the Domestic Abuse Bill to protect all women in the UK, regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, immigration status or social origin.
