Woodcroft Landscapes was founded in 1999 by Stephen Magrath. Having started his career in plant propagation in Co Wicklow, he later worked in grounds maintenance at Windsor safari park and Juddmonte Farms Wargrave and associated houses in central London. In 1994 Stephen returned to Nursery work in a large cash and carry plant nursery. Stephen has worked extensively in landscaping since the age of 16 in both commercial and amenity horticulture.
