World Of Wonder Description

~~COMING SOON AUGUST 2016~~
Take your little adventurers on a journey they will never forget as they travel around the continents on our 3d World Themed play frame.

The frame will be one of the largest in Northern Ireland so as well as keeping them fit your little ones will learn about the world around them and different countries and cultures. They can climb to the top of Mount Everest, race down the rapids on our speed slides, have a snowball fight with the Penguins at the North Pole and visit some of the Worlds greatest sights such as the Pyramids, Eiffel Tower, Colosseum and even the Sydney Opera House

Budding sports stars can play a match in the world cup stadium and theres space for budding pop stars to practice their dance moves before their big world tour.

The under 4s are also well catered for with a 3 level Fairytale Castle Themed play area for your little Knights and Princesses to explore. This will be one of the largest frames for this age group in the country and will also feature a ball pool and area for ride ons. There is also a sectioned off area for the non- walkers to enjoy away from the bigger children.

We aim to provide the most memorable parties your child and their friends will be talking about for months. Our unique party rooms will be fully themed with wall and furniture decoration with a special throne just for the Birthday Boy or Girl. . We will have a choice of superhero headquarters, Princess Castle , Beach party or Animal Safari roomwhere you can make your own party bear.

We will also have a Café serving a selection of teas, Coffees, sandwiches and the best in international cuisine. With Free wifi and comfortable surroundings Mum and Dad can relax while the kids have fun.

We also have plans to open an indoor Mini Golf course unique to Northen Ireland with a time travel theme. We hope to have this open in Early 2017.

User

have to say this place is brilliant. had the nephew down for the first time today. he loved it. the staff are lovely. very friendly and can't do enough. will diffently be back.

User

Went with my 6 and 3 year old granddaughters. All staff were extremely pleasant and everywhere was clean and tidy.

Like the way they have something for the children to stand on at the washbasins in toilets so that they can reach taps easily.

We were there 2 hours and time flew in.

The girls had been before with their parents and when I asked where they wanted to go it was their suggestion. They even told me on the way how to get there from Holywood (it's beside the Lidl nana) and full directions all the way over.

Will be making another visit before end of hols

User

So far I prefer this place for the lay out and space for the child to play.. he loves it and his free toast too.. been twice and staff very nice also.. will defo be going back ..

User

Second time here today. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Good selection of activities for the kids. And the food and confectionery prices are VERY reasonable compared to everywhere else. Recommended.

User

Normally don’t write reviews but seen quite a few with negative comments about the staff so thought I’d put forward a positive. I went to WOW with my one year old on a very busy Sunday afternoon, when we got there there was no free tables at all. So I ordered food for us both and sat at the side bench waiting, when the girl brought our food to us she couldn’t believe we were left with no table, she went out the back and brought out a table and high chair for me and because I was on my own with a pram, bag and tray of food helped me over to the table with my things. Really appreciated her help. It can be difficult when you’re alone with a baby and no free hands so her help was much appreciated. Didn’t get her name unfortunately but thought the staff deserved some positive feedback for a change. Been to wow several times now and have never had any problems whatsoever with staff or with cleanliness. The only problem I’ve ever had is older children running around the baby area but in my opinion that is more of an issue that the parents should be dealing with and not staff as it does clearly state age ranges in both areas. Me and my son love wow and will continue to go back!

User

Just had my daughters 4th birthday party at WOW. It was fantastic, the food was great and more than enough for all the kids, especially great service from the young guy who was overseeing our party(didn’t catch his name) he couldn’t have been more helpfulwill definitely be back again

User

I was at World of Wonder on Saturday with My Daughter in Law Nicola and four of my Grandchildren. The children had a brilliant time including the baby Indi who is just 1year old she thoroughly enjoyed it with her brother Cody and her two cousins Lana & Charley. We sat down and had nice refreshments. Another lady and her daughter approached and shared their ice cream and jelly with My Grandchildren which was very kind in deed. The Staff were very pleasant and friendly. A very enjoyable day was had by all, and we will be taking the Children again.⚘

User

Had our summer scheme group here today and the leaders came back full of praise for it. They said it was really clean, and that the staff couldnt do enough for them. Kids got toast and juice and staff came round to refill the jugs. Kids loved it. We will definitely be back.

User

Had my little girls first birthday party here a few weeks ago. Couldn't have asked for a better day staff took care of everything so all I had nothing to worry about at all party went so smoothly. food was great every kid had seconds and dessert too. Big thank you to Lisa and Luke for hosting for me was well looked after. Very very happy! Nothing but good reports from the rest of the guest at the party too.

User

Had my Daughter’s 3rd Birthday part at WOW, yesterday.

I couldn’t have booked a better place! The day went so smoothly, the staff were so kind and helpful! I was so chilled didn’t have to stress about a thing! From the minute we walked through the door, Lisa greeted us and took everything of us, party bags, cake and all! And I didn’t have to worry anymore.

Lisa also done the kids face painting and was so patient with them! Marshal was the mascot and was so patient also with screaming excited 3 year olds!

The kids had an absolute ball! And so did I, I honestly would recommend booking here for a party!!!

Thanks you to all the staff that made Aoifes day so special!

User

HAd my little girl Eva here today. She’s only two but covered over 2km running around having fun. The staff where amazing especially Bethany who greeted us, made us welcome and served us with a smile all visit!!! Great venue great staff.

User

Great place for kids only complaint is that I think there should be a member of staff around the play area, I am well aware parents have responsibility for their own children, but today my 9 month old ended up with a cut eye from children too old for the toddler area, I was in an awkward position do I tell them to leave? Obviously their parents were nowhere to be seen! And I know staff at the desk/cafe were too busy to be keeping an eye everywhere. Other than that all good, a few healthier snacks for wee ones would be handy too!

User

Really disappointed with the egg hunt today. Huge queue to get in and no Easter tokens to be found once we got in. You can ask staff if your kids don’t find a token and they will give the kids an egg - only told this when I complained when I got home. Arrive early as only one person on the till to let you in. Also announced at 2pm our session was over, even though it didn’t end until 2:15. Therefore when you add in how long it takes to get in and then the fact they try and get you out early you barely get your normal 90 minutes - and they’re chargjng extra for this presumed Easter treat. Would find something else to do with the rainy Easter days.

User

Food prices are good although they did forget one of my fillings in my wrap , also would of prefared if I was asked did I want my wrap toasted or not as the Cajun sauce was pipping hot every time I tried to eat it I was being roasted where it was leaving my thumbs raw red, so I never enjoyed it but eventually was able to eat it once I squeezed it all out , other than that daughter loved it

User

Brilliant facilities in terms of parking, tables, activities and space. Staff were friendly on arrival. However the floors, steps up to the slides and overhead railings all need a good clean. There were six staff standing chatting in the reception area, who could have easily hoovered up the clumps of dust, hair and dirt. Shame the majority of the balls from the larger ball pit were lying around the floor areas of the other play areas. Get your act together before you get a bad reputation.

User

My sister nd I took our kids( age 6) to world of wonders first birthday we had been lots of times before but this time were very disappointed in the place. The young staff was acting like big kids also sitting round a table having an chat to which I could see there was things that need done .The health nd safety of the room that the bounce castles was in i didn't think it was up to standards either.

User

Very poor after paying £4-95 for a 17month old toddler because it's summer holidays to find older boys in the ball pen throwing balls at each other my grandson was hit by a ball when I asked then not to do that the boys mother appeared I told her her son was to old to be in that area she said he was looking after his younger brother total lack of supervision by very young staff

User

Overall I'd probably give it 3 or 4 stars but there was something that greatly concerned me as a parent. One of the high up pneumatic ball guns was fully loose and was not bolted into place. There was nothing to warn of this, no tape, no barrier and the gun was loosely in place.

When my wife alerted one of the workers to this she was met with a reply indicating it had been like that for a while and would be looked at next week.

Whilst they may be of the opinion it is unlikely to fall, it is entirely possible a child could wiggle it loose and fall on a child below (the air lines would need to take the weight of the gun not to fall).

As a parent of two boys it is extremely concerning to see this sort of attitude to H+S matters such as this.

User

Myself a group of 4 other mothers have been coming here at least once a week for many many months now, but after today's experience will never be back. We all pay the entry fee (£5) each time and once the kids are done playing spend even more money on coffees, traybakes, our own lunch etc which we are more than happy to do. This has ALWAYS included them agreeing to heat up any baby food which we have brought. Today we brought, between the 8 of us, one small tub of pasta which was heated as usual by a member of staff. We were then scolded by a member of kitchen staff who brought the pasta out and warned us this would be the last time as we are never to bring in separate food and can only buy from the cafe. Despite already having paid for our own food and coffees she seemed to have thought it acceptable to snap at us and offer no explanation or apology. Another manager then came over and told us to put the food away and so we all decided to leave, hungry babies and all. Not only is their menu full of greasy rubbish for kids but their staff all seemed to tell us different things. One kindly heated the pasta, whilst another snapped and told us to make this the last time, but then Nikki the manager told us to get rid of the food?! Get your stories straight. Any successful business would surely have one rule set and adhered to rather than confuse the customers and in return talk themselves round in circles. With other child friendly competitive venues such at zoo park and funky monkeys around, you are making a big mistake by speaking so rudely to a group of parents like that. News travels fast and if you isolate people by refusing to allow baby or toddler food into the premises then good luck even selling anything at all.

HAd my little girl Eva here today. She’s only two but covered over 2km running around having fun. The staff where amazing especially Bethany who greeted us, made us welcome and served us with a smile all visit!!! Great venue great staff.

User

have to say this place is brilliant. had the nephew down for the first time today. he loved it. the staff are lovely. very friendly and can't do enough. will diffently be back.

Just had my daughters 4th birthday party at WOW. It was fantastic, the food was great and more than enough for all the kids, especially great service from the young guy who was overseeing our party(didn’t catch his name) he couldn’t have been more helpfulwill definitely be back again

Had our summer scheme group here today and the leaders came back full of praise for it. They said it was really clean, and that the staff couldnt do enough for them. Kids got toast and juice and staff came round to refill the jugs. Kids loved it. We will definitely be back.
