We were unsure what to order so myself and my partner took a guess and ordered something we wouldn't normally go for. We were not disappointed, the food was great. Great staff and very friendly place to visit. Also amazing cocktail list. We will be back again.

Visited tonight. I arrived about 5 minutes late of my reservation but still was immediately seated. The place was absolutely rammed but we still had drinks and our food order taken within minutes. As always the food was delicious and all follow up service including food being served fast and beer constantly on tap present. Only my second visit I usually go to a local Indian restaurant but for a Saturday night and considering everything else that was on in the city today fantastic service.

I was at Zen last night for a party with work colleagues + had the 4 courses/4 cocktails menu. The service, food and cocktails were amazing. The manager Alex makes this place very special as he is so dedicated to ensuring all his guests have great service and a great time. I love party nights at Zen as everyone always has a good night. Thank you to Alex and all the staff at Zen for looking after us all last night.

On Friday night me and my sister took our Dad to the Cocktail & Meal tasting event as part of his 50th birthday present. It was AMAZING!!! I loved every little detail, from the wee lamp on the menu as the lighting in the room was quite low, the appetisers to keep the hunger at bay before the starters arrived and the fact that although it was only supposed to be 4 cocktails each we must have had about 6 or 7!!!



The food was amazing. The menu had a lot of food that I would never consider trying on a night out, but I was delighted with everything! As there was 3 of us we just ordered all 3 mains and shared them between us, 1 chicken dish, 1 fish and 1 beef dish and they were all delicious!!! The cocktails that accompanied each main were beautiful and plentiful and as I said before, we received more than 4 each. Dessert was also lovely.



The service was amazing, we arrived at 7.30 and were seated downstairs by the lovely Ashleigh. Our water was topped up constantly through the night and the servers were attentive and so friendly. The entertainment was amazing too. We knew there was going to be entertainment but weren't sure exactly what it was going to be. My sister and I have been to the Cabaret Supper Club but my Dad hasn't...suffice to say he loved all the entertainment from the dancing to the singing.



We will definitely be back for another themed night!

Had another gorgeous meal last night in Zen. I’m Vegan and the staff couldn’t do enough for me! They knew exactly what I could and couldn’t have! Sam and Alex are amazing!! Love it here! No need to go out after as you can stay as long as they stay open and enjoy a few drinks.

There was an error with our booking which I had done by phone and email...bit embarrassing. They resolved it quickly however despite it being so busy. Food was really lovely, spice levels could be upped.....cocktails were delicious.....service was very efficient and friendly. Overall really enjoyed it and will be back...for a special occasion though as it is a little pricey.

Really good cocktails and sushi. My partner had monkfish tails which were a bit gloopy hence the 4 stars. Was really nice otherwise and we’d go back. Would like to try and get one of the booths next time !

This was our first visit to Zen and due to the extensive menu my husband and I opted for a set menu. The food was great and I have to give a special mention to the duck which my husband selected as a main.

The reason I have only given three stars is I have deducted one due to having a ten percent service charge added to our bill when it clearly states that they do not normally add one except for a booth or party of four or more. I queried this and was given a new bill minus the charge. I was so disappointed as I was not given any explanation as to why this happened. We settled our bill and added the normal ten percent tip. Although I enjoyed everything up until the presentation of the bill I cannot see me rushing back.

Our 1st Visit to Zen had a table booked for 5.30 on a Sunday night arrived on time to be told table wasn’t ready and make our way to the bar and order a drink. While having a drink we waited 20 minutes while people coming in were being seated strange so approached the guy who was at front desk when we arrived,who had Just returned from having a smoke as you could smell it off him. Checked around said table was just being made up staff were more than apologetic took our order very quickly and returned quiet a few times to check everything was alright.Enjoyed the food choices prob return to try the sushi but no big rush back as nothing special and quiet expensive for what it is, Music was way to loud more like a disco than a restaurant �

Food was lovely but had a problem with our voucher on Saturday night the man who dealt with the situation think his name was Sam but not sure was very rude and sarcastic and obliviously doesn’t know how to deal with these sort of situations I think the boss needs to have a serious talk with him in this matter. Other staff was lovely and food was nice but Sam ruined my first exsperience in zen and I won’t be back.

I had a chicken curry as a main and I can only describe the sauce as a gloopy chicken soup, vile! The service was also very slow. There was a tip included in the bill so we were due £12 change which we had to go ask for - our money had been stapled to the bill and put into a drawer, clearly with no intention of giving change back. There was also supposed to be entertainment throughout, we were seated upstairs and viewed one dance but we could hear that downstairs got entertainment provided between each course - not good when you’re paying the same price. We tried to speak to someone at the desk before we left but there was nobody available, so we left to catch a lift. All in all if you are thinking of going to one of these nights, don’t!

Checked around said table was just being made up staff were more than apologetic took our order very quickly and returned quiet a few times to check everything was alright.Enjoyed the food choices prob return to try the sushi but no big rush back as nothing special and quiet expensive for what it is, Music was way to loud more like a disco than a restaurant �

Food was lovely but had a problem with our voucher on Saturday night the man who dealt with the situation think his name was Sam but not sure was very rude and sarcastic and obliviously doesn’t know how to deal with these sort of situations I think the boss needs to have a serious talk with him in this matter. Other staff was lovely and food was nice but Sam ruined my first exsperience in zen and I won’t be back.

Attended the ‘cocktail and dinner’ event on Friday and it was awful. The food was disgusting, cold and the cocktails were basically syrup and purée. I had a chicken curry as a main and I can only describe the sauce as a gloopy chicken soup, vile! The service was also very slow. There was a tip included in the bill so we were due £12 change which we had to go ask for - our money had been stapled to the bill and put into a drawer, clearly with no intention of giving change back. There was also supposed to be entertainment throughout, we were seated upstairs and viewed one dance but we could hear that downstairs got entertainment provided between each course - not good when you’re paying the same price. We tried to speak to someone at the desk before we left but there was nobody available, so we left to catch a lift. All in all if you are thinking of going to one of these nights, don’t!
