Ziva Massage Therapy offers variety of massage treatments such as Slovak massage (similar to swedish) , Lymphatic Drainage, Sport massage, Relaxation massage, Facial massage
My techniques are different from local salons as this is European style of treatments. As addition to different techniques we accept everybody's personality. That's why there is no dress code for our treatments. Ziva Massage Therapy is clothing optional massage service. You can enjoy your massage the way you feel completely comfortable and relaxed. Relaxed mind and body is the key to successful treatment and pampering experience from the session.
Pure organic natural massage oils are used for all treatments. All oils originates from beautiful untouched nature of Slovakia and Switzerland. Thanks to environmentally clean area of mountain forests these medicinal plants are source of vitamins and other natural substances which are increasing organism immunity. All oils are without artificial colours and aromas, just a pure nature.
Ziva
The word Ziva comes from old Slavic culture. The word Ziva is used for describing universal life energy or force. It is known in other cultures as Prana, Chi, Ki, Qi, it depends in which part of the world you are at.
There is nothing better which would describe the healing power of massage as Ziva.
It is an energy, which is present in whole universe, in every single cell, in every single atom of our body, massage as well as yoga or many other techniques helps its fluent flow. Ziva in itself is invisible. However, in certain situations, the results of its “work” are strongly visible on the body.
It is thanks to Ziva that a wound heals “by itself”. Ziva is a vibration with no beginning and no end. It keeps changing, like everything in the universe. All that exists has been created by this power. When a person is active and looks healthy, it shows that they have plenty of Ziva. When energy flows fluently in the body, everything works well. However, when energy flows slowly, we feel weak and tired and we can fall ill, eventually. During massage like shiatsu, etc we stimulate the body, so we restart energy flow and we can use it. The energy flow can become smooth.
About me
I'm Michal, holistic therapist or holistic health counsellor.
I started my career as normal ordinary massage therapist. During the years I was doing further and further studies and courses to improve my ability to treat people's problems. Though, it was never enough, the more difficult the problems, the more studies I've been through and still there are people which needs better solution for their more complicated issues.
That's why I started looking where the problems come from. Why there is so many people having health problems and why I can't keep up with the growing numbers of clients even there is so many therapists around. I've found the reason and then, I realised you don't need me.
You don't need us — massage therapists, physiotherapists, healers, etc. No, you don't, unless you need to help us with your recovery after accidents, break ups or when you seek nice pampering, when you need a warm human touch, when you feel down or stressed and so on. That's what we are here for. To help you find a balance. To guide you back to your natural state, which should be happiness, joy, freedom of your body and your mind.
As a business owner I should say, " Hey, come every week for a massage, take this herb, or whatever I can tell you to have good profit of your problems. " But as a holistic therapist I know it's not true.
All you need is to start owning your body. Owning the responsibility for your own health. All you need is working hard on building up your own temple-your body, the only thing you really own your entire life.
This commercially based society creates an illusion, that it's OK to feel bad, tired, ill, stressed at any age, as there is a whole army of professionals waiting to help you with that and you don't have to worry about it, what you eat, what you don't /do. And that is very sad. Money and profit took over the nature.
All of you have the potential to keep yourself in great condition by focusing on prevention.
How you feel in your body is only a mirror. It shows you how you don't /take care of yourself.
People are getting this illusion ever since childhood, that someone else can take the responsibility for their feelings, which makes them lazy. Ready made, heavily processed food, so you don't have to cook, water in the bottle, so you can drink anywhere and anytime, cars, so you don't have to walk, therapists, so you don't have to exercise, psychologist, so you don't have to learn how to manage your own mind. And that is sad. You grow up with this illusion without even question it. No one teaches you at schools how to cook healthy, how to eat healthy, how to exercise your body and your mind, how to be an independent and self-confident person.
That's why I stopped being a part of this army of helpers. That's why I stopped being the one, which helps you out any time you need me.
Instead I become a teacher. I teach my clients how they can take care about them self’s. My purpose in life is to help people to find the root of their problem instead of just treating the results. My purpose is to guide them step by step and showing them how to enjoy their journey instead of showing them where to go. My purpose is being the light, which lights up their path, instead of walking it with them or for them. I can open the right door for you, but it's up to you to take the steps.
Start owning your body, your life, and your happiness. I'll be more than happy to teach you how to do it, how to become a self confident, healthy, independent, shining, free and happy person. All you need to do is to accept that fact that you already are one and always was, you just need to find where you've lost it, where is the smiling, flexible, baby full of energy and enthusiasm. When and how you become stressed, ill, stiff and unhappy adult. I can help you with the answers to this question and how to change it. I'm holistic therapist, and this is what I'm here for. To find that amazing person your already are, that person which has been forgotten in this fast moving society, in this busy lifestyle we all live today.

You either find a time for your self, for relaxing, switching off, for health or you will have to find a time for your sickness, for recovery, for healing. Prevention is the best medicine. Bringing balance and harmony to your life is the key to healthy lifestyle. Your body is like a car, you can't drive too long in full speed, in high revs, especially if you don't service it properly, otherwise you'll wreck the engine completely or at least your car will have very short lif...espan. But no one taught us how to be our own mechanics as we grow up, and we lost our natural connection with our bodies. We no longer listen to all the signals our body is constantly sending us, we don't have the dashboard with indicators that oil is low, or the engine is overheating. Only when our body stops functioning properly we realise something is wrong, which is too late. Slow down, start listening to your own body, start being truly present within the body, and you'll slowly start to see all the indicators flashing on your dashboard, long before any illnesses or diseases occurs. Yes, of course you always have the option which we have been told to simply find a mechanic, a doctor, to change a faulty part, or repair the damage caused by reckless driving, but are you willing to pay the price? That time, money, problems or disruption of your normal life which this will cause? ... And most importantly....... not all the parts can be fixed or replaced, no matter how much you will be willing to pay. Think wisely ...is your lifestyle a full speed race or a harmonious joyful ride If you can't find time for "wellness" you will have to find time for "illness".
