Edinburgh's inspirational new business and conference centre and headquarters to The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

Built in 1863 as The Cockburn Hotel, this striking building has been part of Edinburgh’s cityscape for over 140 years, sitting comfortable in the historic Old Town but on the cusp of the impressive New Town.

Bought by The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2013 to create a modern city centre headquarters, the building underwent a period of renovation before being re-opened in 2016 to provide the iconic Edinburgh event with its first permanent home.

It is now also home to 1 Cockburn Street, a conference centre with modern technology steeped in historic charm, with magnificent views over the city centre.
