Whoa!!! What a meal, and the service with a smile, warm, charming staff and a welcome to match, this was worth it. Had a great time.



Mum and I had the Liver Parfait, which came with a generous rectangle of chicken liver pate which was so light and delicate it was nearly floating, a slice of toasted rye bread which was seasoned with spices, delicious, and a chutney which was as light as the pate. Phenonenol!



Mum had pork belly for her main and it was beautifully crumbly and perfectly cooked, accompanied by a beautifully light potato croquet and mixed veg, she thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the ribeye steak...out of this world, so good it's put me off cooking steak at home because it was so perfect, accompanied with a light potato and cheese tortilla slice.



Desert was a sticky toffee pudding which mum said was beautifully light and the sauce was to die for. I had the cheese board which was accompanied by the chutney again and another chutney...why not? I'm not fat enough yet.



Great restaurant, and it's become one of my favourites after today.

Went in for drink after we had been out for lunch at Devonshire Gardens . The staff were very welcoming and helpful an excellent selection of music and a really good vibe about the place . We will certainly be returning in the near future

We went here for my mums 74th birthday with a five year old and the food and service could not have been better. Such flexible, accommodating staff and excellent food. Thanks everyone for making the day special.

We went for lunch..delicious steak pie.. couldnt fault a thing...lovely staff..nice atmosphere.. I would highly recommend 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Outstanding!!! The lamb was so tender and perfectly prepared. I m a big root vegetable fan so the turnip and onion gratin was great.

Myself and colleagues went for meal last night for our Christmas dinner. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The service was great and the food was outstanding. The atmosphere was very cosy too.. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing a fabulous meal and lovely evening .

Just want to say a massive thanks to David and his wonderful staff for making my Nanas 80th meal a brilliant night. Booked last minute and was no problem in catering for 30 people � cannot fault the food or the staff at all . Highly reccomend this restaurant ...thanks for making my wee Nanas night one to remember �� xx

I'd give it 100 if I could. I've just had the finest steak I've ever eaten (trust me, I've eaten some). The Chateaubrand, rare. If you like your steaks you owe it to yourselves to give it a go. You won't regret it.



Brilliant staff with a fine line in humour added to the overall experience.

Great time here yesterday, started with eats in the grounds and then was told by the helpful and friendly staff about the roof terrace, great space and had a look at the function space too. Good choice on the menu, great service and relaxed atmosphere.
