One of our customers John is doing the Grand to Grand Ultra next month. He will be doing the race in his kilt raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support Scotland

This is the message form the man himself:
... “My friends know that I have a tendency to enter slightly unusual and challenging events (such as the 2014 Marathon des Sables in Morocco, the Special Forces selection events in Wales and Nordic Skiing pulling a Pulk in Sweden). Keeping with that tradition I have entered the Grand to Grand in 2018 and will be raising funds for Macmillan. It is now time for me to impose on your kindness and generosity.
The Grand to Grand is a 273 Km in 6 stages over 7 days (https://www.g2gultra.com/home). The race is set through the Utah and Arizona deserts. The G2G is the first self-supported stage footrace ever to take place in America. It is the only stage race to start from one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, the awe-inspiring north rim of the Grand Canyon, and finish on the summit of the Grand Staircase (one of the world's most iconic geological formations).
The course route is through a high desert landscape of sand dunes, red rock slot canyons, buttes, mesas and hoodoos.
It is one of the remotest parts of continental America. During the course of the event I have to carry all of my provisions and clothing to survive in +35C to -5C conditions at altitude whilst keeping an eye out for rattle snakes and scorpions.
I am self-funding the event so that 100% of the money pledged goes to Macmillan.
