Last night the Squadron held its' annual parents' evening and AGM (Annual General Meeting). The evening was a roaring success with six new cadets enrolled to the organisation, cadets receiving their Heartstart award, Activity First Aid, Blue ATP wings, Classification certificates.
Cadet Brogan Santry received the U17 male award for his performance at the inter Sqn athletics held at Grangemouth Stadium on Sunday - more details to come!
The OC even promoted three new Corporal...s to join the NCO team alongside a newly promoted Sergeant.

Huge congratulations to Cdt Lamb-Paton, who after a successful band camp achieved his gold drummers badge. Lamb-Paton along with many others performed in front of College Hall Officers Mess at RAFC Cranwell.

Another fond farewell for 2311 Squadron.
On Thursday evening the OC, Pilot Officer Jamieson presented Sgt Gemmell a parting gift.
Sgt Gemmell will be taking up post as OIC Leven (1370) Air Training Corps. Thus, this is see you soon and not goodbye.
... I speak on behalf of not only the Sqn but for myself, Sgt Gemmell has been part of 2311 for seven years now, both as a cadet and staff. He has development and supported alot of individuals in his career (Including mine). I thank you for your support over the years and may it continue as a fellow OC!
All the best with your new adventure and good luck. "Per Ardva ad Astra"

On the 21st of March we said a goodbye and farewell to CWO Hargreaves and Cdt Sgt Anderson. Both have dedicated many years to the Corps and have completed many things available to them. Last year CWO Hargreaves took part in the nijmegen marches while Cdt Sgt Anderson became our very own drum major! Fair to say they have been a great help and have developed many cadets throughout their time. Thank you very much!

Have you been following Flight Sergeant Weddle's flying adventures?
