24Th Argyll Scout Group

As part of our work with the Dunoon Community Council we have been removing and refitting the public benches that are being renovated by the Argyll College.
The bench at the Senior Citizens Hall was refitted today.

Scouts is on tonight. Scott is away with work but Nigel is going to take them.
As discussed with the Scouts last week we will keep going through the holidays when folk are available to keep working on the public bench project. We'll organise dates in the Scouts closed group page.

The plaques have arrived for the public benches that we're working on.
See you all tomorrow night, we'll be stripping paint and sanding 🙂🥽😷

The Scouts started work on renovating their first public bench tonight. This one is from the corner of Victoria Road and John St. Made a good start tonight and the Scouts where getting tore in! Looking forward to seeing the finished results 🙂

Scouts will be meeting at the hall tonight 1930-2115.
We'll be making a start on our community service tonight to help renovate some of the public benches in the town. It might get a bit messy!

A wee spot of Geocashing with the Scouts tonight. Cashes found with map and compass and GPS. Midgies where fierce and it rained heavier than we had hoped, but a few cashes found and a trackable, that started its journey in Germany, dropped off. And no major complaints about the weather 🙂

Cubs will not be on tonight due to a family bereavement.
We'd also like to apologise for the recent cancellations. Cubs will be back on next week.
