3D Cakes made our highland cow wedding cake, which we loved so much! It got more compliments than anything else at the wedding. We knew we wanted this exact cake from a photo we found online and the only other people that said they could do it were going to charge us hundreds. 3D Cakes did it for a really reasonable price, delivered it to the venue with no fuss and it was perfect.

Lovely designed toffee cake. Not quite presented as stated. It had lost the WOW factor. They did offer to collect, repair and redeliver the cake but only two and a half hours until the party started. Offered £50 gift voucher in the post that day but it never arrived even 4 days later. Apparently their cakes should be cut up by a chef because they cut them to a special size and know about the supporting metal pins throughout the cake. My son cut the inside of his mouth on one. The customer service afterwards blamed me for cutting the cake and remember you only get what you pay for!! 3D let the side down and I won't use them again.

Ian and his team have yet again pulled out the stops on my sons Jackson Storm cake - the led lights and attention to detail certainly delivered its WOW factor!!! The one to one service you get the minute you walk through the door to the after care I can’t fault a single thing. Ian has the patience of a saint over the last 5 years he has done my daughters and sons birthday cakes each one to perfection. Thank you so much Jennifer

Just wanted to send a huge thank you for the beautiful cake you made for our wedding. It looked gorgeous and tasted amazing. All our guests asked where we got our cake and took loads of photos. It fitted so well with our big day and we will definitely be making you our first stop for special occasions.

The WORST service I've ever experienced with anything in my whole life!
This is my second bad experience with 3D cakes. With the first time I had to suddenly cancel a cake order due to a family illness and instead of being given a refund, or half the amount refunded, I was given vouchers. Therefore, I decided to make use of the vouchers almost a year later as I didn’t want my money to go to waste.

I ordered my cake over the phone from the Edinburgh store with clear instructions to have it delivered to the store in Glasgow where my friend would collect it to take it to the event we were having in Glasgow. I told him I would hand in the vouchers in the Edinburgh store before the date of the collection date. A few days later, I handed in the vouchers at the Edinburgh where a lady received them and told me she would make sure to pass them on.

On the day of the event my cake was not in Glasgow to be collected by my friend, and when calling 3D Cakes to find a solution to their mistake, they told me they “might” be able to get it to me at 4.30pm…half an hour before the event would finish…. I could not take this risk. With no more help from 3D Cakes I had to organize someone to collect the cake from Edinburgh to bring it to Glasgow costing me even more money.

When I asked to be compensated for their mistake, I was told, “I cannot offer you any compensation towards your extra cost as we did carry out all the specifics of the order to the requests”. Completely untrue!

An absolute disgrace, they have a complete disregard for their customers satisfaction and very unprofessional. I will never use them again and I am not the only one who has experienced this in my group of friends and family.
What made things worse was that the cake was absolutely rubbish…small and tasteless for the amount of money you are paying. It’s not worth a penny!

3D Cakes were amazing. We used them for our wedding cake and it was flawless and such an easy process. We then used them to supply some cupcakes for a charity event that they donated to us. Lovely people and could not recommend them highly enough! Thanks again!

Just a quick note to say thank you for turning round the Tiffany Birthday Cake at short notice. The design and flavour were great and Katy was delighted, what more can one ask for. A painless experience

With 3 weeks till a big birthday I contacted 3D cakes to place an order. I was told a designer would call back soon that day. 4 days later, having heard nothing, I called again to ask if I could order a cake. Sorry about the earlier delay, they said, the manager will call you back later today. No call again. I give up - going to find a cake shop that values new business. Not much time now though, thanks to 3D Cakes. V Poor.
