Lovely restaurant. Food was good, but service was fantastic. Staff are wonderful and make the effort to really engage with the customers.
Music is a tad loud, but the enthusiasm of waiting staff, will make your visit one to remember.

I had the breakfast here with waffles, syrup, bacon and eggs. It was the best breakfast I've had in 2017 - it's a once or twice a year kind of breakfast - I haven't had anything this good in Edinburgh. I think they do gin and stuff too, but I'll be back for breakfast.

The range if drinks is good, and if you like gin then it's excellent, but the food is fairly average.

Great food! Fabulous selection of gin and good selection of single malts! It was cold out the night we visited, and the hot toddy's were just perfect. Nice comfortable atmosphere.

Very friendly welcome and a good selection of food on the menu. Quality of food served for our lunch was excellent.

Great spot, with a large outdoor patio. Trendy, well-decorated interior. Serving up gin slushies and other delicious cocktails. Must visit their Secret Garden during The Fringe. Also, the owner is delightful.

Fun place that serves a great selection of cocktails and in particular gin and gin based drinks! The staff is helpful but sometimes not as attentive as they could be. They were very nice and let me bring my birthday cake in after we were rained off the meadows! However they also lost the reservation...! Overall I always enjoy coming and trying some different gins. The decor is fresh and modern and the atmosphere is lively but not too loud to have an actual conversation! Went to a gin tasting here and it was great!

56 North recently gave our group of 18 an incredible experience during a Gin and Cheese masterclass. We enjoyed two fun and informative hours learning about gin and cheese pairing as well as how to taste spicy, floral and sweet notes within the gin. We had a delicious lunch of Mezze platters after the masterclass and were treated exceptionally well by the waiting staff and bar staff. Neal was a passionate expert on gin and we highly recommend his masterclass at 56 North.

Amazing gin selection. Did a tasting and the guy leading it was very informative and it was lots of fun. Lunch was tasty too.

Absolutely lovely gin bar, with extraordinarily knowledgeable staff who have provided excellent service the times I've been. Definitely worth stopping by even if you're not too familiar with gin.

Had a nice time here with a prebooked Christmas dinner and some friends. Food was surprisingly good. Did not try the gin but there's a selection that looks to have over 200 different types. Insane!

I wouldn't recommend breakfast but dinner is always great. Portions huge. Gin selection top notch and beer selection is good. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Nice bar and restaurant.
