5Star Sport create and deliver Rugby and Hockey Easter and Summer Camps for boys and girls aged 9 to 16 years old
5Star Sport Description
5Star Rugby is a rugby camp providing a fantastic opportunity for boys of all abilities aged 9-16 to develop their all round game ahead of a new season.
There will be a focus on individual skills and game situation training, with training specifically tailored to the needs of each individual, all delivered by some of the best coaches in Scotland. There will also be the unique opportunity for the boys to have their progress monitored during the week with video analysis and there will be special guest appearances from current and former internationals throughout.
Our only requirements are that the player wants to improve and, above all, enjoy their rugby!

I love coming up with innovative games and skills to keep the players engaged whilst developing their learning. This game we did at Easter was so much fun and was really effective at working on low tackle technique. Right, back to work and let’s see what I can come up with for our next camp!!

Here at 5Star Sport we pride ourselves in having Elite Coaching and carefully select our Rugby and Hockey Coaching teams. The coaches provide the boys and girls with all the cutting edge skills and latest techniques for the modern game.
Jim Thompson, former Edinburgh Rugby player, has been part of the coaching team since our first camp 3 years ago! It was a pleasure to play beside Jim for so many years on the pitch and who would have thought we would be back on the pitch coaching together now?! We are so lucky to have him in our 5Star coaching team; he brings a wealth of experience but more importantly has a real passion for coaching youth rugby and is so enthusiastic With all the players and it certainly rubs off on them. I love watching him coach, just as I loved watching him play! ⭐️🙌🏉
I told you it was a family affair 💙🏉 here is my no1 5Star Sport Mascot..... always on hand to help me set up the camps, reveal competition winners (no Brodie you can’t win!!), hand out flyers and help me on the final funday..... he is counting down the years until he can join in (and slowly persuading me to lower the age threshold to 8 years!!).
