695 Gallery Description
“695” Gallery is a hybrid art space which encourages artists at any stage of their careers to exhibit sculpture, film, performance, photography, painting and participatory art in the public realm. The gallery has a multidiscipline function and offers an exhibition and community art space.
The Gallery has exhibited a number of projects borne out of Accidental Mix, a long-term partnership between QCHA and the department of Sculpture and Environmental Art (SEA), Glasgow School of Art. QCHA is a community-based housing association which builds and provides homes to local people, sheltered homes for older people and supported accommodation for vulnerable young adults and people with mental health issues; and QCHA delivers community development services, providing education, employment, life skills and social activities for people of all ages and backgrounds.
