Alison Turpie is a certified personal coach (International Coaching Federation accredited qualification). She also has a wealth of corporate experience.
Alison was a senior professional at one of the "big four" global consulting firms for over a decade before having a family and then she went on to enjoy a successful freelancing management consulting career. During this time Alison set up her coaching business and has coached individuals with different needs. Helping individuals with small business start ups through to post redundancy career progression, also total career changes and lifestyle adjustments, health and wellbeing. Alison has consistently helped others to achieve.
Having gone through some big life changing events recently including major surgery and recovery plus family grief, using her coaching skills Alison was able to adapt her life when necessary and take on new challenges with gusto. During some very challenging times Alison took up running last year to raise funds for a cause close to her heart (Alzheimer's Society). Having personally suffered several years in chronic pain due to a severe medical condition, since major surgery she has rehabilitated herself and is now able to run 10k having never attempted running before. Alison also has lost over 2 stone in 4 months and continues to work on her health and well-being. Alison enjoys a challenge!
Alison also successfully ran children's art classes and events to keep in touch with her creative tendencies. She continues to keep art close to her heart and often makes keepsakes and dabbles in mixed media artwork with the odd piece being sold, much to her delight.
Alison also enjoys giving back to the community, and volunteers as a Rainbows Guide Leader running her local rural village Rainbows Unit. She can often be found facepainting at village events and parties to raise funds for her unit! She is also the editor of the local community villages Parish Magazine and a member of the local village WI.
Lastly, she is renovating her 200 year old rural home and she loves her cosy rural family life with her loving husband and 2 gorgeous, caring and very amusing young daughters. They also have several family pets.
Alison believes that having strong business acumen, major life event experiences and a creative mindset enables her to problem solve on many levels. Sharing this ability to benefit others comes naturally.
Does she ever sit on her laurels?. . . . . . . . . Never!
