Tasty Scottish food lovingly cooked. The restaurant is underneath its accompanying bar so there's a good selection of drinks too. The restaurant is in a snug basement which makes for a cosy, intimate atmosphere.

My dad and I had a great scallop risotto and beat the crowd on a Wednesday evening. Service was attentive. The atmosphere was dark but welcoming.

Great wee restaurant, downstairs below a great wee pub. Bit meat - heavy for my liking, but they always have a couple of fish and veggie options. Very good staff.

That was genuinely a pleasure to go to this restaurant, the food was great (huuum this vegetarian dish!!!), the staff lovely and the service was great!

Food was great but the service a bit off. Waiters couldn't recommend wine and some beer orders were wrong.

A fantastic Scottish bistro. Locally sourced produce very well cooked and presented. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Nice basement restaurant, went for a meal out whilst visiting Edinburgh.
Booked a table over the phone, as we wanted one of the "cosy alcove tables", very pleased.
Food was delicious, with generously sized portions, and a nice pub atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive, and food arrived promptly.
