Abbotsford Hotel

Been visiting for years with my grandpa and family. Food is always good. Staff are great.

Great place great food and atmosphere staff are brilliant too

Great hotel, inexpensive, huge well affordable meals in their restaurant but the best part of the stay was their awesome shower. At last, an easily accessible shower with fabulous water pressure! Just what the tired tourist needs!

Great selection on the menu and food we got was really nice too and very well priced. Staff were great too, will definitely be going back.

Check-in was a breeze, and the place is self-contained (i.e. no need to leave to get to restaurant/bar area). The room was very comfortable and modern; the bed in particular was very cozy. Short drive to Loch Lomond and all its sights and walks!

Nice meal, but manager Paul swaggers about like a proud silverback gorrilla.

And you can 100% tell he's one of those managers that's a pure nightmare to his staff.

Not impressed with food had to send some back as pate was off also got order wrong.
Maybe just a bad night

Friendly welcoming staff. Great food at reasonable prices. Staff always on call to help you. Definitely recommend.

After a little hiccup at check in i found the room to be clean & tidy although a little warm "but that's why windows open" the bathroom was again clean with everything in its place, a small argument with shower provided water that would not boil me, the bed was very comfortable I did have a good night's sleep.
My evening meal was honestly 1st class very tasty & well presented, I had breakfast in the morning which consisted of cereals, fruits, juices, muffins etc including a fully cooked breakfast of my choice, I could not find fault with either the service or the food between breakfast & evening meal or from the bar.
Overall I would honestly say this hotel as very fairly priced with good service kind staff & very good food.
