Aberdeen Airport

Great small airport. Not that far from the city centre. It was all near and clean and the food in the lounge is good too.

They don't answer, the phone baggage handlers and staff are rude. The parking is overpriced, you have to pay for drop off. I hate this airport!! I've had to add to this review as my daughter lost a cheap ring at the airport and was charged £8 to have it returned. This was called an administration fee then a storage fee. I'm not sure they know themselves. So basically if a child's toy is handed into lost property you need to pay £8 to get it back even if it is lost for 5 minutes. The staff and management think this is fair as everyone is charged the same. Never had to pay this in my life. Horrible people horrible airport.

DOV:April2016 Small airports where very small flights are normally operated. You can have couple of restaurants & area is maintained excellent.

Nice and small. Easy to get around. Check in staff generally pleasant. Flight routes improving.

Need a bigger bar / eating area. Perhaps would be an idea to match how many customers are flying with the staff just a thought. Security can be a hit or miss expect a 15 min wait minimum. The check in desks are usually quick and efficient. The smoking area is a good idea especially as its past the security check in area. Toilets and hygiene are always a high standard. Never had a bad experience with any of the staff. The new baggage reclaim area for international flights is really quick was impressed with that.

Located yards from the train station, but they make you walk 3 miles - wonder if they get any renumeration from the cabbies?

Small airport with a few shops. BA lounge is a decent size for an airport of that size. Usual selection of snacks and drinks.

Parking and drop off point so bad it verges on laughable. Capitalism at its worst, now £2 to drop off. No alternative. No reliable connections. Difficult to get to. Great advert for Aberdeen

Aberdeen International(!) Airport? Wow, what an absolute joke that is. From the Drop-Off Charge, to the new "walk outside and look at this hastily made baggage carousel that we've thrown together", the whole place needs leveling and staring again. Absolute joke of a place. No real easy reach to Dyce station either.

Not really surprising when you look at the rest of Aberdeen, I suppose. Took them 4 DECADES to build the bloody bypass! Looks like a pittance from the oil income was spent on both.

WHY DOES IT TAKE SO DAMN LONG TO GET THROUGH SECURITY?? OPEN THE SECOND X-RAY MACHINE ONCE IN A WHILE FOR GOD'S SAKE!! Absolute joke!!
