Decent enough Airport car parking, close to terminal.

Absolutely furious. I have a blue disabled badge. I went to meet my sister & parked in disabled space. Unfortunately the plane was late & we were almost an hour. I was charged £8. I realise I would have to pay something but this was excessive .When I was dropping her off at the airport after her stay with us I was charged £2. I understood I didn't have to pay having a blue badge if I was just dropping off!!?
