Aberdeen Community Energy (ACE) presents the Donside Hydro – Scotland's first urban community hydro and Aberdeen's first community energy company. Nestled on the River Don in the city of Aberdeen, the Donside Hydro will capitalise on Scotland's abundant water supply to create clean, renewable electricity to be sold to the national grid. The income from the project will be channelled into projects that will achieve social and environmental benefits. ACE will undertake a Community Share Offer to fund the project, offering an ethical, low-risk investment opportunity.
