Well it was just not meant to be for the preds tonight.
The Piranhas may have came up short benched but not short of energy.
A close game throughout. Some great plays and goal tending by the fish see them leave with the win.

This weekend the Predators are fishing for a win against Kenny Kerr and the Kilmarnock Piranhas.
Come along to see our last home game before the annual Quaich Tournament.
Face off 1800 with Free Entry.

Aberdeen Predators travelled to Inverness in what was to be a stormy game.
Inverness Hurricanes came out fighting and a whirlwind of shots gave them the advantage. By the end of the first period the score was 5-1 to the Hurricanes.
After a quick breather and team talk the preds were ready to hunker down and battle on.
... The second period saw some slick passing and skating from both sides and by the end of the 2nd, the Predators had found the back of the net and clawed back some of the goal deficit to 7-6 to the Hurricanes.
The 3rd saw 3 goals in quick succession from the Preds to give us the lead for the first time, but the storm wasn’t over, a barrage of penalties in the last few minutes saw the Hurricanes fight back. 2 minutes left and the Preds make it to 10, no time to take a breather because in less than a minute the Hurricanes find the back of the net to bring it back to within 1 goal.
A flurry of great saves from both sides ends the game.

Game time!! Go Preds!!

A tough game lies ahead this Saturday as the team face off against the Dundee Devils.
Last weekend the team took a short bench to face the Glasgow Mustangs and were defeated 15v2.
This weekend they look to bounce back in what is sure to be a close fought game.

Tomorrow will see the team travel south to take on the Coatbridge Redwings in the return leg to the recent match in Aberdeen.
It is expected to be a tough game on the road however the team hope to win the away game.
