Cowboys. They do not fix anything, even rotten windows and will not compensate. You will get charged for missplacing a bin to a different room. Flats they lease have furniture from the skip. You will never be able to talk to any of their staff, but if you manage to catch them they are extremely rude and aggressive.
Avoid!!

Just started renting through APL and so far they have been excellent. Any issues they have been very quick to sort out and they reply very quickly.

Renting with APL is a consistently frustrating and difficult experience. Between staff who seem unable to communicate with each other, little to no interest in actually resolving problems with the flats they rent, and needing to be repeatedly reminded to actually take action in fixing maintenance problems, their levels of professionalism and care leave a great deal to be desired.

If you can avoid renting from them then definitely do so, their dreadful reputation across Aberdeen is entirely deserved. A thoroughly unpleasant company to deal with.

Absolutely appalled at how much they took away from the deposit for cleaning services. After leaving the flat at a very reasonably clean state I received an e-mail with all the places they found issues in. Most of the examples they gave were absolutely ridiculous, stuff like a single, barely visible bread crumb found in a corner of a room or barely noticeable dust found on a light switch. I wouldn't have much of an issue with this is they hadn't taken £300 from the deposit for cleaning services.
Definitely would NOT recommend them to anyone, it is impossible to not get scammed in one way or another.

I was looking for flats and many I was interested in happened to be manged by them. I sent emails and tried to call them to book viewings, it is amazing how rude the staff on the phone was, for no reason at all! And they would reply to my mails saying that I had to call them, but then they would transfer my calls to voicemail!.
I just gave up. AVOID!

100% agree with all the 1 stars, I had the EXACT same experience as ALL of those reviews. They are polite until the money is in their bank account and you sign the contract. Go read all the one stars, they are ALL true, the 5 stars are ALL FAKE.

The white goods and windows are all broken, they don't repair them, they just make them "less broken" - "working......kinda" until they break again. You'll be covering all of the costs of any maintainance and wear and tear with your deposit, a so called "leaving tax". The staff are crazy, They WILL make fun of you, they will take the p*ss just to amuse themselves, it's like they are watching Takeshis Castle and you are the participant.

Imagine you're walking across a bridge and the path breaks and you fall into the water, you climb up the bank, everybody laughs it off and you move on feeling embarrassed and ashamed thinking "just my luck". NO MATE...That's the best way to describe this service, thats what happens EVERY TIME to EVERY ONE and they'll be laughing. They'll just fix the broken bridge with just enough string, masking tape and super glue so it looks ok for the next sucker to cross and you get the bill for the "repair".

Had to give 1 Star because it wasn't possible to give none. Extremely rude staff and condescending.. any problems with the flat were not dealt with especially if the tenants were not at fault. Overpriced for the quality of flat also. A compact 2 bedroom flat with 3 windows for £650 a month.. unreal how they get off with it. They'll do anything to get more money out of you from your deposit by, as I said earlier blaming problems like a leaking shower on the tenant. Also people who work for the leasing agency helping themselves into the flat without invitation despite telling them not to come unless one of the tenants are in!.

I wish I read all the poor review before we moved into our house. We have been reporting a broken hot water system for the past 6 months and APL have not taken it seriously. We are moving away because we have bought a house but I wouldn't recommend this agency to anybody. Stay well clear!

All of the staff are extremely condescending, rude and dismissive to any wrong doing. They don't give any rights to tenants, every effort is made to get more money given to the landlords. Worst estate agents I've ever had and I've rented for over 10 years!
