Aberdeen Seafarers Centre

Aberdeen Seafarers Centre was formed as a charity in 2008. It is a local charity, established to enhance and enrich the wellbeing of seafarers living in and visiting the Aberdeen area. We seek to promote the spiritual, emotional and physical welfare of persons who are, or have been, seafarers and their families. We provide a frontline service to the thousands of seafarers passing through the port of Aberdeen each year. We also provide advice and help to retired and ex-seafarers, and their families, accessing grants and welfare services, signposting them to other services (local and national) where appropriate.
