About Aberdeen University Sports Union
Aberdeen University Sports Union (AUSU) was found in 1889, coordinating sports for the students at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. It is a constituent part of Aberdeen University Students' Association. The Sports Union is a student elected body with a volunteer committee, headed by a full-time working Sports Officer elected by the students as well. The Sports Union's extensive network of volunteers run the university sport clubs, intra-mural leagues and mass participation events at the University of Aberdeen. Aberdeen University Sports Union also employs full-time and part-time jobs to help the governance of the sport events and work for the best interests of its 58 affiliated clubs.
