Hello and welcome to the Aberdeen Woodland society. If you are interested in woodland management in any way, shape or form then you are in the right place. We are a university group concerned with giving people the opportunity of experiencing and learning the mechanics of the north eastern Scottish woodlands. Our overall goals are to be a positive impact on the woodlands in North Eastern Scotland by assisting in projects involving woodlands and forestTo do so we will strive to *Create a community that can discuss current issues revolving around woodlands including fields such as politics, law, economics and social science. *Give people the opportunity to explore the woodlands around North Eastern Scotland to appreciate the beauty of the Scottish woodlands and to create a positive hands on experience*Supply people with practical skills through cooperation with Aberdeen university in addition local and national nature groups.
