Nice hostel for young people. Nice wifi too.

Awful experience. They will lie saying breakfast is included but in reality you have to book yourself and pay. Otherwise you get kicked out. For what ? FOR A PIECE OF TOAST AND A BANANA. Disgusting. Never been more humiliated in my life.

Lovely well run, clean hostel. Rooms are simple but adequate. Not sure, about the whingers, complaining about the distance to the city, but it's a lovely stroll to union St. The x17 is right at your door. Big Tip: Ifyou are arriving by train, walk round the corner to the main bus depot and grab the X17. It drops you right at the front of the hostel, it's just a quick jump across the road to the hostel's front door!

i wasn,t going to write a review here not much good to say,yes it has the monopoly in aberdeen and has always taken great advantage of that, just now they are having renovations so many things not working, wi fi tv reception, some channels and very poor mattress ,but what really annoyed was not getting a refund when i had to cancel a second stay giving ample notice ,and then no reply to my letter and very rude staff member ,the manager i think, when i questioned no refund ,it was also the last bed and anyone knows can always be resold/nternational yha site maybe is different to syha site, but really!

It was a nice enough stay. No lockers to keep my bag, and even though it was a youth hostel I shared my room with 2 men over the age of 50. They were nice enough so it wasn't a problem.

A bit far from the city centre, but great price/quality ratio

There were renovations during our visit. The place was a bit messy. A good 20mins walk to town center.

An excellent place to stay. Good facilities and staff very friendly too.
