Enjoyed a Sunday lunch with a friend a couple of weeks ago.
My friend has specific dietary requirements which were no problem at all.
Love the smaller portion option.
The menu had lots of really good options but I went for the pigeon starter and pheasant with game bridie main which was delicious.
Definitely going back to sample more of the menu and stock up on the local honey available at the bar.
Really friendly staff who made us feel welcome but not too fussed over.
All in all, very enjoyable.

Excellent meal with my wife! Food is superb quality as is the wine. Would recommend the mini haggis supper to start and smoked pork belly for main. Will return soon.

The burger was just too small... Apart from that, mac & cheese with duck was really nice!

Lovely ambience, friendly but efficient service from pleasant, professional but unimposing staff. And the food is outstanding. We will drive 6 hours again to enjoy this lovely area at this excellent local hotel.
