Abernecessities

Our aim is to support local, underprivileged families in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire with the essential items they need to care for their babies and children. AberNecessities accepts donations of nappies, wipes and children's toiletries. We are also delighted to accept nearly new clothes (up to age 12), toys and equipment. Our only plea is that it is in a condition you would be happy for your own children to wear or use. Where do your kind donations go? They stay here in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. We distribute them to local, underprivileged families so they can meet the needs of their babies and children. How else can you help? -Please like and share our page, tell your friends, family, colleagues and anyone you know who might be interested in supporting us. -Volunteer - Keep your eyes peeled on our page for regular updates about volunteer days. Jobs include; organising and collating donations for distribution and cleaning items. Oh, and of course, there is always time for a cup of tea, a biscuit and a natter! -Join our knitting group! More information can be found on our Facebook Page. -Fundraise for us. . . Sometimes we receive desperate calls from professionals who are working with families in crisis. This means they need help right away and we pride ourselves in being able to support them quickly. If we don't have the correct items in stock we buy these new and try to deliver them within 24 hours.
