Fancy winning an Amazon voucher?
Are you needing to stock up on study supplies? Or add finishing touches to your new student accommodation? Then why not come along and help the University to be in with a chance to win a £50, £20 or £10 Amazon voucher!
Over the summer the University has been working on a project to replace the current Virtual Learning Environment (Blackboard) and they are now offering students the opportunity to come along and test three potential replacement... systems and give feedback. They are looking for all level of users, from students who have never used a virtual learning environment to experienced users of our current system, Blackboard.
The testing will take place on Wednesday 12th September between 12 – 4pm and you are free to drop in anytime during this period. We expect the testing to take approximately 2 hours and there will be snacks and refreshments provided. We realise this is a busy time with teaching starting and therefore, as a thank you, anyone who comes along and completes the testing will be entered into a prize draw with a chance of winning an Amazon voucher.
Students are at the heart of this project as the University strives to provide a modern, online, interactive learning environment to enhance the study experience and your input will be invaluable in helping us choose the right system. If you would be willing to participate in the testing please email pso@abertay.ac.uk and they will provide you with details of where to come along.

As a result of student campaigning the Scottish Government has introduced a new project to help alleviate period poverty. We are now providing sanitary products FREE to all students! Come by the Abertay SA Office, opposite the main lecture theatre and take what you need! We also have free contraceptives! Pop by to see our lovely new stand and grab some free products!

Put your racing (and green shell) skills to the test with out final tournament of the day ! Games Development Society are putting you all on the race track with a "Tour de Mariokart" !
Signups begin at 4:30pm, with the tournament starting at 5pm !
