Fantastic experience at Absolut Hair, i had my hair and nails done here and the staff are so friendly and professional. My hair has never looked as good I'm getting lots of compliments and my nails are just flawless. Love the vibe in this salon, will definitely return before christmas 10 out of 10!!! x

Really nice place with a nice atmosphere! Having just recently moved to Glasgow I was planning on trying a couple of places but after one visit I’m certain this will be the one place that I will continue to visit! Really happy with my hair and got a lot of good advice too, Catriona is lovely and the massage chairs when you get your hair washed are a great touch too!

Lovely relaxed salon in central location. Good prices and easy online booking. Have visited the salon a few times now and most recently had a great cut with Catriona. She was so friendly and full of handy tips and advice for my hair. Really happy with the service and would definitely recommend.

Picked Absolut because was recommended by a friend and they did not dissapoint. Very happy, got a cut and blow dry restyle. Girl was very good, (can't remember her name Cat maybe? Irish girl) and she listened to what i asked for and asked all the right questions. Finished result was just great just what I wanted. I'll be back and I would highly recommend Absolut. Salon was very clean, the staff were really polite and attentive. Also loved the massage backwash chairs very relaxing ❤️❤️❤️

Cannot rate this highly enough for Kat! She is without a doubt the best stylist I have ever been to. She is straight to the point and will tell you exactly what will and will not work for your hair type, skin tone etc, and produces beautiful results each and every time. Kat is maticulous in her work and ensures that everything is absolutely perfect before letting you walk out of the salon. An outstanding stylist with a wealth of knowledge and experience who also makes you feel at ease in the chair with her brilliant chat!

Booked an apt to get my hair colour and cut done for a wedding. Had a phone call the day of my apt saying it had to be cancelled and rescheduled due to illness. As I explained I didn't have time in the run up to the wedding to fit another apt in, Paul did his very best to make sure I could still keep my original time. I agreed to see a different hairdresser, and the lovely Emma agreed to come in on her day off to help out. All worries of having a different hairdresser were alleviated as I had a beautiful cut and colour. I would like to thank this salon and its staff in doing their upmost effort to help their customers out. 10/10 would recommend.

Incredibly happy about the results! Make sure to ask for Kat, she knew exactly what suits my face shape and hair type (esp Asian hair), and have lots of aftercare tips that even a lazy girl like me can follow. Great chat and lots of clear communication which resulted in a cut that's exactly what I wanted. Best hair experience I've had in the UK!

Most often I find it very hard to trust hairdressers and worry I will leave after getting my hair done not liking it. For the past couple of months I have felt really unhappy with my hair, layers, colour and overgrown side fringe. I got my hair done last December in Absolut Hair & Beauty by another stylist Jen (also great experience) and Kat gave me such great advice on colour, cut and how to look after my hair. So when I needed my hair done recently, I decided to book in with Kat. First of all I was completely unsure about what I wanted done to my hair due to the disaster its been lately and Kat was so patient with me, changing from full head tint to highlights to full head bleach. The care taken to put the colour onto my hair in sections was great due to me hair having like a million different colours in it. The cut was fantastic the best fringe I have ever had cut and Kat even took into consideration my cows lick (I think thats what its called), where my fringe bumps a bit over my head naturally. I did not need to look at colour charts or describe anything in detail to Kat, she just knew from listening to me exactly what I wanted but was also honest when she thought I would not achieve something or not like really short hair. Kat's customer service was excellent, friendly to chat to while getting your hair done and the after care advice about where to buy good shampoo and conditioner was also very handy. I left the salon feeling like a million dollars and my boyfriend was so happy with my hair when I got home. I got this done yesterday and had to write this review straight away as I feel like Kat has given me all my confidence back. I will most definitely be booking in with Kat again, so happy I have finally found someone I can trust with my hair.

Have been going to Absolut for a couple of years now. Staff are very professional and the salon itself is absolutely stunning, very relaxed and there is a nice ambience in the salon unlike many other city centre salon I have visited in the past. I would highly recommend Absolut to anyone looking for a city centre salon that are very fair with their prices, they take their time and will do a stunning job of your hair, again comparing to other salons I have visited Absolut is head and shoulders above every one of them, the stylists clearly have a lot of experience. It's in such a handy wee location right on sauchiehall street. The only thing is its on the first floor so quite easy to walk right past it! But you know what they say, good things are hard to find! Love this place 5 stars always from me, thank you for making my hair beautiful! See you guys soon next time I'm up before I go on holiday in August xxx

Got my hair done here last week and I am in love with it! Kayleigh did a great job and she was lovely too. Good price and well worth the money will definitely be returning here, couldn't recommend more!

Although the salon was busier than on my usual visits, staff were friendly and welcoming. Kayleigh made a wonderful job of my cut and colour, as she always does and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I would highly recommend Absolut to anyone looking for a new hairdresser.

Very rarely leave reviews but I have been there for 2 bikini waxes and won't be going anywhere else anytime soon. The girl who's name escapes me is so lovely and most of all, quick! Incredibly affordable and she chats to you for the whole time you're there to keep your mind off things. Can't say better things about this place, especially after some not great waxes in the past. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Edit 11/11/16: After I wrote an initially very negative review, the manager reached out to me to explain they were having a particularly bad day the day I had my cut and to offer to make things right. The review below has been edited to reflect the new information he gave me. I've agreed to give the salon another chance and I will update again afterwards.

This salon is run as a group of self-employed hairdressers sharing salon space. There is a salon manager, who assures me he takes the group's reputation very seriously. Most people seem to have had a good experience, so perhaps I was unlucky, but I received a cut that was very disappointing and absolutely NOT what I asked for.

The cut was acceptable on the day, although not great. However, as it grew out it got very quickly (within a week) worse and worse, and it became increasingly clear the stylist had either not heard what I had said about what I wanted and about how my hair grows out, or lacked the experience to cut it appropriately.

I had my appointment changed at very short notice and I heard the manager change someone else's while I was there, although he assures me this was a one-off occurrence and due to unexpected sickness.

Three stars because the cup of tea and the conversation were good and she didn't shave half my head or leave me embarrassed to go out in public. It was also cheap.

I will return because I think it's only fair to give them an opportunity to respond to my criticism. I hope the salon manager doesn't punish the stylist in question, and instead treats this as a training opportunity.
