No doubt, there will always be times in your life where things get hectic and free time becomes limited; that's the nature of being adults. However, that doesn't mean that during those times you have to neglect one of your most prized possessions โ€“ your own health and wellbeing.
I would also like to stress how import its to avoid 'an all-or nothing attitude' toward exercise and keep up your positive, can-do attitude because "any training is always better than no training." On...ce you own that mindset, then if you are truly limited on time, simply make the most of time by choosing the time efficiency training techniques that suit you the best.
Hopefully l can help you to find the workout that will give you the optimal results, more energy, greater productivity in less time.
There are several good time efficiency training methods, including; HIIT (high intensity interval training) or reducing the number of sets per exercise, but the method I personally believe is ideal for getting workouts done faster, while still building strength and muscle effectively is using super-sets or tri-sets training.
This is where 2 or 3 exercises are performed in a row with little or no rest in between. After the second or third exercise, a short rest break can be taken, usually between 60-180 secs, depending on the exercises and body part. After the rest interval, you repeat the sets again for 2-3 sets.
The best supersetting workout should be specific in terms of exercises, sets, reps, rest. it should also be time-efficient and have a high level of intensity.
The workout should be in a rep range conducive to hypertrophy as well and should consists of full-body workouts. Mostly compound movements are used to maximize efficiency and to create the best growth stimulus possible.
Here is an example which focuses primarily on antagonist supersetting,
A1: Full Squats: 3 Sets x 8 -10 Reps A2: Stiff-Legged Deadlifts: 3 Sets x 8 -10 Reps B1: Bench Press: 3 Sets x 8-10 Reps B2: Bent-Over Rows: 3 Sets x 8-10 Reps C1: Barbell Curls: 3 Sets x 10 Reps C2: Weighted Dips: 3 Sets x 10 Reps C3: Narrow grip Chin ups 3 sets x 10 Reps
Abdominal Work (Leg Raises, Decline Crunches)
