Accessibility & Inclusion Consulting for the Hospitality Industry. Access2Hospitality was born out of my own experiences with (partial) sight loss and 25 years of working in hospitality; operations, systems & applications management, training and consulting. In the last 10 years, since being diagnosed with my eye disorder, and having at times been reliant on assistive tech and a "long-cane", I have come across challenges with travel and access to hospitality facilities. I am aware from extensive years of experience within travel and hospitality that the challenges are not only limited to those with sight impairment, that there is a need to address accessibility for all. 1 in 5 potential consumers in the UK have a disability and with a total spending power of families with at least 1 disabled person being estimated at £274 billion a year, it's time to engage, time to do things better for all. Let us not leave anyone behind. Let the conversations begin: I am consulting with travel and hospitality businesses to work better on this area of inclusivity.
