Fantastic new trip for the island, a must!
Tim and I have been doing some well overdue pruning, to trees that really should have been cut back a couple of years ago. Revealed is a magnificent view over to Ben Hiant and Ben Resipol. With a half decent telescope, the whole of the Morvern Hills skyline can be viewed. Great for Raptors!
New news - the baby tawny has fledged, and thanks to the Holdens who are on holiday in Garden Cottage, there are 2 babies. They saw them sitting on the outside ledge last night about 11pm, with the parents encouraging them to fly!

So exciting, we have a baby tawny owl, so Heather Pinchien advises us! We are now trying to work out how old it is as they haven't been in residence very long. Photo is a bit blurry as it was raining!
