Achilles Heel

I regularly go into the shop to look at new stock, to chat with Stef the manager. I always receive a warm welcome and advice if I need it. The staff are patient and friendly and helpful.

Excellent service. Took time and care to help me pick the right trainers. Thanks again, especially the new girl who had just started that day and Stephan.

Excellent knowledge by staff and very eager to help. They are all actual runners which means they actually get it (or they're exceptionally good at blagging being runners!). Highly recommended.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for running shoes. The advice is always spot on and the service is great. Even better if you can pick up one of their 15% off vouchers, which appear at many races.

I knew from the reviews that this shop gets very busy, so having a day off from work, I went to be fitted with a view to buying the shoes the following week. The member of staff was very nice and I told them from the outset that I would like to be fitted properly that day but would return the next week to buy the running shoes. They went through a couple of tests with me, (walking on the shop floor and bending at the knee on one foot) NOT on the treadmill, and I was only offered 2 pairs of shoes to try on. I was then told that when I came back they would do a proper test on the treadmill etc and that they would let me try on a full range of shoes the next time (???). The shop had only 3 customers at this point. I came away feeling I had been hurried out of the shop. Was this lack of interest in my custom due to me saying I would return for the shoes the following week? Maybe the treadmill was broken??? I was not in a hurry and really would have liked to have been fitted properly. Quite disheartened by it all.

Great shop, staff are really knowledgeable and offered me great advice on buying the correct running shoes. I will definitely be back

One of the best running stores in Glasgow. The staff are very well informed and their job is to get the best shoe for your needs. They pay close attention to your stride and select shoe which give the right amount and type of support. I had to walk up and down and run on the treadmill. The shoes I got after the consultation have proved to be perfect. No hard sell.
