Named Best Wedding Venue in the UK by Harper’s Bazaar in 2017, Achnagairn Castle is a stunning 5 star exclusive use wedding venue in the Scottish Highlands, just 7 miles from Inverness. Our magnificent vaulted ballroom, the jewel in the crown, can be entirely personalised to suit your theme or taste. We can accommodate your whole wedding party. We have 62 designer bedrooms (24 in the castle, 38 in the estate).

We had the most amazing time celebrating our wedding with you at Achnagairn on 2nd June. It really is a special place and we felt right at home there for the weekend. Huge thanks to Sam, John, Kirstie, Emma, the Chefs and all of the other staff who worked so hard to make our time there everything it was. You're a great team and nothing is too much trouble! We got married at Achnagairn 2 weeks ago and had the best day! The venue itself is beautiful. Everyone in the main house loved the different rooms and it was great having the whole house to make our own. The lodges are of a very high standard and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stays there. Feedback of the restaurant was also fantastic from those staying in he lodges.
Planning a wedding from Australia was never going to be easy so we ensured Achnagairn were aware of the help we would need. Sam was our main point of contact throughout the planning process and nothing was too much trouble.
We stayed for 3 nights and it was great having the house on the Sunday night for the party to continue with games in the hall.
The list of suppliers provided by Achnagairn were of a very high standard. Some that we used included Angela Stewart Creative, Justin Scobie & Highland Clay Shooting. Being able to shoot on the grounds was an easy & fun way for the guys to be entertained on the morning of the wedding. We can't recommend the venue highly enough to anyone thinking of having their wedding here!
Stayed in the Gloria Mundi room in the Temple Fugit lodge for myself, my husband and my 10yr old daughter. It was lovely - beautiful decor, cool bathroom, clean and really comfy. We didn't really use the shared facilities much, but did speak to another couple who were staying and they were so nice. Didn't hear any of the other guests coming in/out.
Spent 3 nights here for our daughters wedding and it was amazing everything was fantastic and the staff where very helpful and friendly,
Paul and I got married at Achnagairn on 14.10.15. Thank you so much John and Robert and all other staff! It was the most perfect day that I could have asked for! Beautiful house, grounds and views! Our guests had all the lodges booked out too they are also stunning. Robert was brilliant at keeping you calm and had everything organised for the big day and was very patient! John on the day was amazing our day went very smoothly and he coordinated the day perfectly.
Highly recommend wish i could relive the day again! Hoping my hubby takes me back for our first anniversary xx
On the build up to our big day in February 2017, Sam was great at ensuring we knew all of our options and making sure things were just as we wanted. Her and John made a great team on our wedding day and made sure things ran smoothly – we did not have to worry about a thing. All staff were great on the day. The venue is spectacular and the flexibility that we had to do what we wanted with it, allowed us to create the relaxed weekend we wanted. Thank you to all at Achnagairn, Mr & Mrs Thomas
Lovely hotel and setting in the Highlands! Peaceful and grand at the same time. My group and I stayed in two of the luxury lodges which was perfect for us. The staff including Marina, Robert, John and others all made our stay wonderful!
Just spent 2 lovely days attending a wedding at Achnagairn, staying in a lodge.
The accommodation was excellent, very clean, staff very friendly & helpful. The food for the wedding breakfast was absolutely delicious. The day ran so smoothly. A huge thanks to all the staff

Had a great stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Our room had an outstanding view and the atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxing. I would recommend this venue to all.
For a wedding its special with a great atmosphere.......thankyou Robert and staff for the lovely weekend we had with you over Daniel & Lindsay's wedding...everything went without a hitch and the sun even came out just to top it all off!! A truely Special day!

Fantastic place to stay, hold a party or wedding. Setting idyllic for relaxation, walking, jogging and eating. Not far from Reelig Glen, which we visited five times in three days-it's sheer beauty astonishes.
Best place ever. Had a magical day at Alan Ross and Katy Heavens wedding. If you want your wedding to be personal you can't get better than this.
Attended a corporate event with accommodation for two nights. Brilliant experience, staff very helpful and the accusation in the newer houses was clean, well furnished and well stocked. Gladly recommend.
Achnagairn House has to be the most idyllic setting for a wedding in the Scottish Highlands. The house and grounds, offering both privacy and grandeur, have to be seen to be believed......totally amazing! Robert and his staff are a truly professional team who fully dedicate themselves to ensure your 'Big Day' is everything you wish it to be. "Excellent" is too low a rating!
