I've used ACL for van hire, MOTs and servicing and have always had an impressive level of customer care from keeping me updated on the progress of a job, to providing me with a hire vehicle perfect for my needs and budget. Highly recommended!

Hired a van from these today , halfway through the hire period the clutch pedal went to the floor , almost caused a crash at a junction , got the van home then phoned acl who told me to phone their breakdown service , who told me it was a common fault , the aa turned up and again said its common, he done a temporary repair and told me what to do if it happened again, he then phoned acl who refused to have the van recovered as it was now driveable and suggested I return the van , still only halfway through hire period , on the way back to acl it did do it again and again nearly causing a crash at whitburn cross , did what aa guy suggested an got moving again , got to acl told them van is dangerous , not interested ,not an apology , nothing . terrible customer service and hiring out a vehicle that shouldn't have been on the road .
