for the last couple of nights we have had the pleasure of the company of Walt Rummel, now Walt has this story to go to Disney who love it and some day we will see this on Film it is the story of a pig and a Musk rat who ran away from home and travelled the Mississippi together and met up with some Cajun wild pigs, it is a fun story, Wlif was contracted to Disney, before that he had a Film Company in Boston, he now lives in North Carolina, and Screen writes, what an interesting Guy .

We are getting on well fitting a new bathroom suite into the room that two clowns of Guests broke a bath in, How they brdamaged the bath was anyones Guess but the most annoying bit is that they hadnt got the guts to tell us and we discovered it when we went to clean the the rooms people like this should be made to pay for damage . We have fitted a whole new suite, Told the Travel agent so that we could get in touch with those people, Yes youve guessed it folks all our requests have fallen on deaf ears. but it is difficult as we must have our rooms spot on for all the good clients that we have

This afternoon we said Goodbye to two lovely ladies and to cracking blokes from Ireland It was great to see Barry Doyle and Mickey along with the Benn Sisters great craic and a good catch up, wishing them a safe journey home and a good gig in Ellon , we look forward to their return To Acorn House.

we are back from the sunshine , now to reality, Breakfast cooking for our guests. the break was too short, never mind we can go back again

must go and prepare Breakfast for the Queen of the Silver Dollar.

Last was little Italy in Acorn House, Guests from Turin, Florence, and Lake Como, lovely famalies, and also guests all the way from Birmingham Alabama a lovely crowd and we all had great fun at Breakfast

thank goodness we managed to get a lot done in the Garden yesterday as today the weather wasnt god to do any gardening will leave the grass till thursday tho as the weather will be better after the Kids go back to School , It will be our youngest Grandsons first day at School tomorrow , so we wish him well.

Today has been busy getting down all the Christmas lights tree etc and putting them away till December 2017 any way job now completed so it will soon be dinner time thank goodness

Just noticed that we have the same trip advisor ranking as Culloden House Hotel, So that must say a lot about Acorn House, Mind You we have Had some of the owners head staff from America staying with us here and they were very complimentary..

Well I'm back In lil old wales but wishing I was still in the acorn guest house with the girlies!! You were so nice to us, made us feel so welcome! I want to come back with hubby and kids sometime!! Xxx

We were so lucky to have chosen Acorn Guest House for our stay in Inverness. Fiona and Dugie were wonderful hosts. We felt like old friends having a conversation over breakfast. We had a great room and it is close to town. Breakfast was wonderful! Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the area!
