Across Borders Collective

"Across Borders" is an international, cross-cultural, and collaborative curatorial team of three Chinese and one Caribbean Scottish. As a collective, we consider presenting diverse artworks and performative art that aims to break down borders and act in response to pandemic tensions and refugee policy. Under the umbrella of cyclical repetition and cultural pedagogy, we examine individual memory and collect mythology by creating a platform for exchanging dialogue between people from different disciplines, identities, and authentic lives, by showing our diversity and inclusiveness. As a curatorial team with many personalities and ideas, we strive to collect and put together different ideas from different genres to create something unique and valuable. Our goal is to expose the audience to new research, share stories, preserve culture, and allow the audience to immerse themselves in alternative methods.
