Acting Up is a fun week day morning acting class /theatre arts workshop for all those aged 55 + , in Peebles from Jan 2017.

Acting classes for all those 50 +

Founded in January 2017, Acting Up is a new workshop programme /theatre club in acting, theatre skills and play reading for adults aged 55 and upwards, with an interest in theatre and performing. Whether you are looking to expand your creativity, increase confidence, take up a new hobby or make friends? Reignite an a past passion or are simply interested in plays and acting? Join us! We'll form a company and look at theatre & acting techniques in an informal, fun and supported environment. This is not a performing arts course as such so there will not be any public performances as we develop and skills build together.

Sessions are priced £7. 50 each (offers on block bookings - please see theatre for details). Session times are 60-90 minutes long 11am-12. 30pm at Eastgate Theatre, Peebles, Scottish Borders.

Plays looked at this term have been by Ayckbourn, Shakespeare, Pinter, Ionesco, Willy Russell and Alan Bennett.
