My lesson for today - if you’re ever struggling for motivation to get out to do any activity find somebody to do it with you. I do the majority of my training alone, which is ok, but having recently found a training buddy of similar ability means we push each other on, we’re committed to heading out and it’s a damn sight more fun. We went round one of my friend’s fave run routes today which was dubs galore and completely new to me. PM to book and set yourself up for the weekend!

I was more than happy to be heading inside for training today squeezing in a lunch swim seeing as the weather is a tad Scottish.
Swimming is also a fantastic activity for recovery and injury rehab. This is because it allows the tissues to stretch and joints to mobilise with low impact and just enough resistance for aerobic conditioning. Highly recommend!
