Adagio International Academy Of Ballet And Music Description
Ewa Goljanek-Ritchie, Director of Adagio, grew up in the historic city of Gdansk in Poland. Uniquely, she graduated as a professional ballet dancer from the National Academy of Ballet and also as a classically trained concert pianist holding an Academic Degree in "Master of Art" from the National Conservatory of Music in Gdansk, Poland.
The vast experience of graduating from the most prestigious Academies in Poland and many international stage performances as a Ballerina and concert pianist have given her unique vision on how to harness the strong foundations derived from the Polish and Russian systems of art and adapt them to the Scottish educational system.
Working from a base within the Robert Gordon University Sports centre, Ewa offers a range of unique classes undertaken with world famous Russian and Polish Choreographers, concentrating on the internationally recognised Russian Vaganova Ballet Foundations teaching methodology.
