A portrayal of the life of Eva Cassidy through video, voice and song. Elsa Jean McTaggart presents a tribute to her all-time favourite artist Eva Cassidy.
With voice and guitar, she brings alive the essence of Eva as she relates the songs to the beautiful and yet tragic story of one of the world’s most iconic voices, which was not brought to light until two years after her untimely death at 33.
Elsa’s voice has been described as ‘smooth as velvet... sultry’ (Joe Simmons, Ed...inburgh Tonight) and “One of these very few people with a distinctive enough voice to do the music and songs of Eva Cassidy justice.” (Tom King Southside Advertiser).
ON at Adam Smith Theatre on Fri 14 Sep ON at Lochgelly Centre on Sat 15 Sep

Tickets are on sale now for the unique musical experience that is Filip Verneert & Enrique Simon coming to the Adam Smith Theatre in September!
Their music is at the same time melodic, engaging and surprising with roots in jazz and classical music. 🎼🎻

User

The Belgian guitarist Filip Verneert and the Spanish pianist Enrique Simon are soulmates , which results in a virtuoso musical conversation. Their music is at the same time melodic, engaging and surprising with roots in jazz and classical music.
A unique experience is created through the performance of their own compositions.

A retelling of Peter Pan unlike any you've ever heard before.
Our mysterious narrator tells us the tale of Peter Pan and his battle with nemesis Captain Cook, known for his evil saucepans and dastardly cook-offs. Join him on his journey to Neverland, get more lost than you ever have before with the Lost Boys and maybe even help fight off some pirate baddies...
... Come with us as you fly into an imaginative and absurd Neverland, where anything can happen...if you believe and can cook it, of course.

What a Great night at Aladdin !! We even got a shout out !! Brilliant cast and such a good laugh :) well done !! :) xx

User

Went with my daughter and 3 year old granddaughter . we all had a great time. The show was well performed with good singing, dancing and funny jokes too and loved how Buttons and the ugly sisters interacted with the audience. Oh and my granddaughter enjoyed her free pkt of sweets she caught lol.

Well done for a great performance I can't wait until the next show .

User

We came here for the pantomime on 29th December and me and my seven year old loved it. I hope Gordon Brandie, the person who plays Buttons will return again next year as I think he was the star of the show.

User

Was fortunate to attend the last performance of Cinderella last night. A great night of laughter, music and excellent family entertainment. The cast should be praised for providing an excellent show. Haven't laughed so much for a long time. Congratulations AST.

Hope the same people are back next year. Would certainly recommend it.

Well done to all the cast and everyone one involved just Amazing xx

User

Really enjoyed the performance of Aladdin, especially loved the scene in the cave with the song shine (I'm a massive take that fan lol) A great family outing. Well done guys.

User

Myself, my mum and my 2 daughters aged 8 and 4 attended the Cinderella Panto on Wednesday 4th January and absolutely loved it, the show was fantastic from start to finish, they did a great job of getting the crowd going and my girls loved it when they came down from the stage and ran around, this was our first time at the Adam Smith Theatre as we usually go the panto in Dunfermline. The cast were fantastic and had brilliant voices when they sang, a great night was had by all and we would definitely return to the Adam Smith Theatre again 😀

User

My family and I had a great night at Aladdin tonight, never laugh so much in ages, great performance by all ️️

User

My 8 year old daughter and I were at Aladdin today (24/12/17). What a brilliant afternoon. The performance was outstanding with lots of audience participation. The whole cast worked so hard and were a pleasure to watch. We were in the front row. There was loads of leg room and a clear view of the stage. We will be back to see more shows here.

User

It was so good wishe your so dishy

It is won of the best won I have so

I was at Aladdin today with my 5 year old son, who wasn’t keen to go. But he needn’t have worried because it was brilliant. The cast were great with particular praise for Widow Twanky, the Genie and the villain. They were so obviously enjoying themselves it was impossible not to go along with. Loads of energy from the whole cast though. The music was great too although at times I felt like the vocals could have been a shade louder. Nicely arranged and just the right balance. Definitely be back next year.

There’s something for everyone in the show so grab some of the remaining tickets for January - you’ll have a blast.

And my son..... can’t wait to go again. He loved it. Sincere thanks to all involved for a cracking afternoon at the theatre.

User

Have just been to see Aladdin and my tickets were for Row U and when I picked them up from Box Office and they saw that I was in crutches with a sore foot...they moved me to the wide Aisle in Row J. Can't thank the staff enough for their kindness and really appreciated the kind gesture xx. Show was amazing too with great characters xx

User

Great time at the Steamie absolutely brilliant. The bar was busy as everyone was coming in at once but the staff were amazing & we got served with a smile from a ❤️ lady x

User

Attended Aladdin on New Years Eve with my son. My wife and I moved to Scotland several months ago from the USA. We have been to many Broadway shows and I must say that if your Aladdin was there it would be the talk of the town. The acting, direction, set design, lighting and overall performance was awesome. We'll be there next Christmas for your next panto. Keep up the good work. Happy New Year to you all.

User

Attended Aladdin on 23/12/17. There were 6 of us with age ranging from 50 years old to 3 years old. Each and every one of us completely loved it. The cast were fantastic and the whole show was a complete delight. Watching my 2 granddaughters aged 5 and 3 years old interacting with the show was a joy to behold. The look of joy on their wee faces will stay with me for always. Thank you to everyone involved. We will be back next year xx

User

An excellent panto. Attended with the kids on Friday 30th and was not disappointed. I managed to get picked on by The Ugly Sisters throughout the show which added to the kids enjoyment of the show....all in the best possible taste. Great acting, great singing and well worth the journey across Scotland to take my mum. Nothing flash such as 3D but all the better for it. Funny lines and fabulous performances. A memorable event....thank you!

User

Performance of The Steamie was 5 ⭐️ but the service in the bar was appalling! Four people serving but still took forever to get served. Maybe time to invest in some training on how to cope when busy!!! That aside, the show was amazing and I would happily pay to go back to this again in the near future!!! Full House proves this is what the public want to see!! ❤️

User

Went to see the panto last night but it was totally ruined by the woman behind us who consistently shouted out comments through the whole performance. There was a steward sitting right beside where she was but she made no attempt to quieten her. The panto itself was good and special mention has to go to Buttons and the ugly sisters who were brilliant.
