Afghan Human Rights Foundation Description

Afghan Human Rights Foundation (AHRF) is an independent, non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit organization working to promote human rights and democracy through engaging a variety of arts, and culture-based programs; creating space for dialogue at all levels of society, peace-building, social justice, societal transformation and public participation.

AHRFof the UK of was established in 2013 by the founder of Scottish Afghan Society and Co-founder of Glasgow refugees Action Group.
The aim is to assist Afghan refugees with their integration into UK society. As a center point for the Afghan community, the Society provides a wide range of practical support, help and advice. Since its’ inception, the AHRF has assisted many refugees to successfully integrate and to make a positive contribution to UK society.

We provide range of services for the Afghan refugee, migrant communities and asylum seekers.
We give Advice and support on Health, Education, Social services, Welfare benefits and immigration.

We provide help with job applications, vocational and careers guidance. The Society also assist and provide advice on housing service for unaccompanied minors.

We work closely with all major agencies including government and non government organisations and NGOs for the betterment of our members so they can live free from discrimination and the fear of racial harassment and violence.

We are independent of any political group, religious creed, ideology or economic faction.
