About African Caribbean Cultures Glasgow

AFRICAN CARIBBEAN CULTURES GLASGOW is a nonprofit community organization management company based in Glasgow, Scotland founded in 2013 by cultural producers Anne McLaughlin MP and Councillor Graham Campbell to produce the site-specific street anti-slavery theatre production Emancipation Acts for the Cultural Programme of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. ACCG went on to organise music and art programmes but in 2015 went into a quieter mode when Anne was elected for Glasgow North East. ACCG had to go fully dormant when Graham was elected to Glasgow City Council in 2017. At that point the LLP was would up and ACCG converted back to a community organisation. ACCG will resume operations soon.
